SO excited! I bought my new Xbox One with the MCC and was excited to play with all my friends! Only to find out that the game is broken beyond repair for me. Everytime I go to log into multiplayer, or my career, I get “NOT CONNECTED TO XBOX LIVE! You are not connected to Xbox Live and will not be able to access this feature” Um…I AM CLEARLY connected to Xbox LIVE as I’M IN A BLOODY PARTY.
How can I fix this so I can play my game I just spent 400 dollars on?
Not a single response in 10 hours. How sad. Guess I am returning the game and Xbox One if no one has answers.
How are you connected to internet? Ethernet? Wifi? What’s your isp and what speeds are you getting?
I have the exact problem! I just bought an Xbox One and Halo The Master Chief Collection and was very exited to play it. When I finished the update and went to multiplier it says; NOT CONNECTED TO XBOX LIVE. You are not connected to Xbox Live and will not be able to access this feature. 
So sad and mad right now!
Do a Hard Reset that’s how I solved it

yeah that happened to my brother yesterday… he’d just restarted the xbox and put the disc back in and worked. Its probably just a bug in the UI menu
To fix localized Xbox One Xbox Live sign-in problems or games not starting (aka games hanging on the title screen), perform a full reboot of your system, also known as a powercycle or Full Reboot, cold restart or hard reset. To perform a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on.
