"Not connected to Xbox Live"

I was able to download The master chief collection through steam. I was even able to log in to my xbox live account but now whenever I try to play multiplayer I’m hit with " Not connected to Xbox Live. You are not connected and will unable to access this feature."

I’ve been having the same issue! any development, I haven’t been able to get any solutions.
