Tried to play a game tonight keep getting “Not connected to xbox live” but everything else works fine, nightfall, waypoint, other games.
Anybody know what’s going on? This game, man.

It’s a bug of some sort. The only way to resolve is is to quit the app and hard reset the console.
Holding left shoulder button, right shoulder button and x as the game launches fixed the problem. 
Truly? I think the bug is/was related to the game running in the background still when the console is powered down into connected standby mode. As a result I usually force quit when I’m done playing.
If your suggestion above works, that’s odd, but cool.
