most likely ruin the game. If nobody bought these map packs/passes, then what makes you think that 343 will do better job in fixing the game. Lots of people complain about this game and yes there are problems, but not buying the maps just because they haven’t fix a issue that you hate is just being hard headed. What honestly makes you think that encouraging people of not buying these maps will help this game out…If you don’t like the map packs, keep it to yourself. Telling other not to buy it is dumb because that will hurt the future production of this game and the next game. I’m not sure if some people know how business works
Like ppl did in street vs tekken, capcom really got fcked up in that game and their next titles didnt sold as much as they expected… resident evil raccon city and resident evil 6 for example.

Vote with your money. If you don’t like BTB maps, don’t buy them.
When the smaller arena maps come out, BUY THEM and promote them. Consumers vote with their money.

Not very true, if many people buy the map packs, it doesn’t mean that they are perfect or good. People can buy the map packs and post on the forums saying what they want in the future. There is actually a topic atm coming up with ideas for the next map packs after the release of the 3 map packs.

I don’t like big maps. Why would I buy something I don’t like? This game has enough large maps already. I’m so tired of Haven and Abandon now.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City sold extremely well despite the fact that it was absolutely terrible. People stopped supporting Capcom’s DLC practices because all of their DLC was already on disc and all you were paying for was an unlock code.

Oh, really. They are going to take a huge loss from a SUNK COST they aquired before the game even launched? Get real. The game sold 4.5million copies and the first DLC came a month after launch. They are SWIMMING in money. They don’t even know what a loss is.
too many btb maps… a mode that i dont like to play. so why would i buy that dlc ?
They already made these maps well before launch. This is once again a tool gain more capital for less work. This game reaks of Microsoft’s greed and a new developers oversights and ignorance.
I completely support the boycott for these new giant maps. This game has the worst maps of any halo to date. Fact the only balanced maps haven and Valhalla, or wait Ragnarok. That map was made in halo 3. Why is that one of the only two good maps. The obvious answer is they really don’t understand what they are doing in terms of multiplayer gameplay.

This would most likely explain there only accomplishment, was creating a storyline for the campaign. I personally hated seeing the chiefs eyebrows and crows feet, the death to cortana the only other character fromfrom the beginning, and the anti climatic boss battle. However, some really enjoy those aspects. The reason I bring this up is because, their only strong suit shown is the storyline, there only job openings are for mmo experienced employees, and with specializations system is directly linked to the swift destruction for the gameplay we have love for years. To be replaced by some mmo generic halo experience a monkey with down syndrome can play.
Anyway, there is hope for this game, but not with 343. Today i played customs on a lockout, kinda of midship, and a extraction map with mlg settings. The reason i mention this is because for the first time I had fun for hours, the games where balanced and close. The game felt like halo again. I believe the maps come from desel or diesel something like that. Just go to the halo council it’s there.
The community should turn there back on 343 like they did to us. I truly believe if there was a way to search for custom games, we could do better with the limited tools they gave us.
When I playef those settings the game was really good. I would go as far to say between halo 2 and 3.
Halo 4 only has 5 infinity slayer maps, that in itself is too low for any video game standard. Don’t think they’ll stop supporting the game because the first DLC was a bust; they had already designed those maps before the game released, it’s more like they are just gaining more money on things they had already made before releasing the game.
If they think we’re going to buy a map pack containing only 3 maps, it better be maps that are good (don’t look like complex) and that suit many game modes (not only BTB)
If I hadn’t already bought the LE I wouldn’t be downloading the map packs.
