I won’t be buying Halo Infinite. After over 10 years of asking, playable elites were restricted in reach and completely removed from every single halo game since then. It’s one of the most requested features to be included in Halo but yet again 343 ignores it. I thought maybe that Halo Infinite was returning to Halo’s roots they’d include them but nah, who cares what the fans want? So until they add playable elites in I’ll be playing MCC.
It’s gonna be on gamepass so you don’t need to buy it. We know you’ll be on Infinite day one.

Don’t have game pass and don’t plan on getting it

To be fair, even playing it free is still supporting the games population.
Not a lot of people play as Elites anyways. Why add stuff for the launch that a small percentage actually uses?
Ppl can’t play as Elites because they haven’t been a real balanced feature since Halo 3.
Unacceptable.

Not a lot of people play them because they havent been a staple since Halo 3. Reach had them balanced differently than spartans and 343i just left them out of their games. A lot of people dont play them in 3 probably because 343 ignores them there too. 343i just has this vendetta against them for not explainable reason. That or just laziness.

Because a minority opinion is still an opinion. Does everything need to be a unanimous cashgarb majority decision to have it included into a video game?

Not a lot of people played them in Halo 3 too and also were annoyed playing against them. It is not laziness it is called metrics. Explain to 90% of people who play Spartans that they will have less armor and cosmetic pieces because 10% of players want to play as Elites in a Spartan game.

This ^^^
Elites have always been a minority in game and caused balancing issues. With Halo being an arena shooter phasing out elites is the lesser of two evils. I’d much rather have a more balanced game and have greater Spartan customisation than playable elites. That stance will never change for me.

You don’t even need gamepass. The multiplayer is completely free to play. You won’t even need Xbox Live Gold…
There is so much more to Halo Infinite than being able to play as an elite. If that is your determining metric on wether you want to be a part of the Halo franchise then I guess we have very very different opinions on what’s important in a game.
