Not buying halo 5, and you shouldn't either.

There’s no reason to give 343 any more of your money on “good faith” that they will release a good product. I say this, until the master chief is working at 99.99% then i’ll consider buying another product from them, but until then, no… just no.

If you buy halo 5 then you are a big part of the problem, think of it this way. If you bought a Samsung refrigerator and it broke as soon as you brought it home and wasn’t working right and you kept having a technician from Samsung come over to fix it over and over again and it would continue to break. Would you ever buy another Samsung refrigerator again?? I’d hope not. Well, same premise applies to video games…

And please fan boys, back off, no excuses. There is no reason why a refrigerator shouldn’t work when you bring it home same as a piece of software from 343.

I am part of the solution, I am a lost costumer which is a result of 343’s mistakes… If we all did this, then 343 would be forced to release a quality product, and not just have us by the rope and get sales simply on the “halo” name alone…

Be a part of the solution guys, complaining to 343 isn’t enough, we need to get them where it hurts, the pocket books…

if you MUST have halo 5, then fine, go ahead and buy it USED. You can wait a week or two…
If you truly want to see halo get better, then this is the ONLY way.

Here’s an excellent video I urge you all to watch:

I am not buying Halo 5 on “good faith”, I am buying Halo 5 because the beta is fun and because the story elements they have set-up looks interesting. Take your own advice and don’t buy the game, leave the rest of us out of your delusions.

Or you could just not preorder it, and wait a few weeks after launch to judge it then. Who knows it might work.

The beta seems to be working fine, for a beta. No cause for concern. Why do people always seem to gloss over the fact that the MCC was outsourced to multiple companies, as well as the issue of five engines on one disk? It was never going to work without them taking a whole other year to optimise and integrate all the different parts.
I know I’m buying.

Please remove your post OP. Your babbling is nauseating

I don’t think anyone here cares what you do, or don’t do/buy.

So you are now my financial advisor-
what should I spend my money on then?

This year they released their first ever game with dedicated severs. This is the first time they’d ever used them. Cut them some slack! They made some mistakes with TMCC, but they’ve fixed them and H5G’s beta suffers from none of them!

Until you set up a dedicated server for matchmaking, which works first time with reasonable speeds, I’m not going to listen to you complain and moan about TMCC’s matchmaking issues.

& which game did 343 release with dedicated servers? I swear you say mcc i’m going to throw a book at you lol… because the mcc has p2p servers not dedicated. H5 is running dedicated servers though.

Also, you can’t possibly hit 343i ‘where it hurts’ in the pocketbook, because their pocketbook is supplied by the single biggest software company in the world. A few measly people boycotting the game will do nothing, and is worth far less than the complaints of 5 million people.

Complaining clearly is enough, because now we’re getting Relic Anniversary, ODST, and a lot of us are getting a month of gold and some in game items. This is all on top of the fact the problem was fixed completely almost a month ago.

I’m going to preorder the collector’s edition of it because it is a great game so far, and for the record, the matchmaking is working fine in the beta, from where it can only get better.

In your irrelevant fridge comparison, you’ve exaggerated far too much. If I bought a fridge, which had a single faulty hinge, and the company fixed it as soon as physically possible, then said here, have a free microwave too, it would make me MORE inclined to buy from them again, not less.

Hahaha, waste all your mommies’ money, kids.

And all the parts that 343 outsourced worked fine, it was only the UI, menus, and matchmaking that 343 managed… and GUESS WHAT??? That was the only thing that didn’t seem to work. hahah

I’m not gonna cut any company any slack for rushing a broken game for black friday sales, wake up people. This is a joke and you are very uneducated for thinking the way you do.

I’ll sum you people up into 2 words… “fan boys”.

A FAULTY HINGE??? The game was near unplayable for the first 3-5 days!! Not to mention it still doesn’t work correctly…
GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

Oh, I read that they were dedicated. Doesn’t matter, though because it is their first game on X1 (not counting SA which wasn’t a full fps Halo game), meaning the point still stands that it was their first time with something.

The game functioned fine, matchmaking was broken. Matchmaking is the equivalent of a hinge because it is what allows you to access gameplay, like the hinge allows you to access the food.

hahaha, I can’t tell if this post is serious, I sure hope not cause it’s actually kinda funny.

I’m buying Halo 5.

Mindless sheep. Mindless sheep everywhere. RIP console gaming

Oh, so I assume that you worked directly with 343 on the game and therefore have inside knowledge that makes this statement anything more than an assumption you’ve made based on some performance issues. No? Oh… Well, that’s a bit disappointing. I’m inclined to trust 343i’s statement on this over those random dudes on the internet with no credibility on the topic.

I’ll be preordering the $100 edition cause I do what I want. At least 343 is trying, unlike what Bungie is doing currently.
