I understand being upset but you been a Halo fan for as long as some of yall say. You’d have no issue playing campaign solo to start. Obviously they’re having issues and trying to get it to run solid all during pandemic and you folk so up in arms over a delay to CoOp? Come on. I can wait 3 months for that. Halo campaigns mostly been a Single player story to begin with. Halo Ce you know the feeling waking up, being the only survivor from the crash. Humanity last hope. This is capturing that same essence CE had. So not having CoOp should not be turning you off. Personally I think no forge at launch is a bigger deal, but I can wait on that too especially if they’re gonna add bots and let up make missions. 
we’ve waited 6 year. I want to enjoy the story for what it is and enjoy some multi-player. Idk about you but I’m ready for it right now. All the extra stuff can wait. Word to 343. If Xbox One is struggle to run CoOp make CoOp next gen exclusive or scrap it. If the hardware can’t run it can’t run it. Don’t dumb the game down for basic stuff. This include 120fps. Cut it if it helps boost quality. Stop biting more than you can chew
I could wait an extra year if it means we get a complete game instead of a bare bones early access game. The first time I played Halo CE was in Coop on my friends OG Xbox, not having Coop at launch is a joke.
Its about principle we don’t want games releasing without promised features only to say that they will patch them in later.

Except for the people who survived the crash with a friend, or a family member. When they were both the last hope for humanity. It wasn’t single player for them. It is very much capturing the same essence, and some people, just like they did back then, want to experience it the same way. Just sucks they have to wait 3 months for that to be the case while everyone is getting that same feeling 3 months before them.

At the end if the day Infinite is a live service game with campaign expansions. You really can wait? It could very well be a storyline deal. Where back up arrives to help Chief and CoOp is unblocked

The moment you say “If you don’t x then you aren’t a true halo fan” is the moment you prove to the world how simple minded you really are. Go ahead and support the BLAM practices of bad developers and their relationships with publishers and investers. Allowing this behavior is why we have this current trend of horrible tripple A title releases. We don’t want a Destiny / Anthem / Outriders type situation with infinite. STOP.

I haven’t seen any information to suggest that Forge and Co-op are being delayed due to issues with the Xbox One.

While I do find the backlash behind the delay to be a little overblown, I can agree that holding Co-op back behind a future paywall, would be a step too far.

Lol Jokes on you I played Halo CE Co Op when I was 10 in 2001. My first introduced to Halo. A game I previously saw as some Xbox gimmick cuz I was a PlayStation Fanboy back then. If not for Halo CE Co Op and the FLOOD! I probably would not have the passion for Halo that I do now. Halo Co Op is as much the foundation of Halo as CTF. So don’t you dare call me and my memories fake!

I’m still hoping for an HD release of Marathon 1 and Infinity on Xbox. I played the ever loving god out of Durandal on the 360, the survival mode was insanely addictive. Split screen multi was awesome too.
In case this has never been explained to you, sometimes people have different opinions. The lack of co-op at launch may not be that big of a deal to you, but some people enjoy playing through it the first time with friends and family and those people are rightfully bummed out by recent news.
For the record, it doesn’t bother me much. I mostly play campaign as a solo experience. But I have this incredibly rare trait on the internet known as empathy that lets me see things from another person’s perspective, even if I don’t fully agree with it.
