I have not been asked to download anything. I have hard reset my box multiple times, reloaded MCC, logged in and out. Still not being asked to download the update. I’m still on the old version I’m quite sure, trying to search games.
Edit: I’ve sat over an hour trying to search games. Haven’t found a single player or game yet. I assume I’m on old version based on that. I do see the new animated background though, not sure if that means I insta downloaded or not.

If you see the new background, then you are on the new version. shut down and unplug that xbox for a minute, then try again later when there are more people on. which should be starting about now actually. people will be getting out of work on the east coast in about 5 minutes…
