Not available for Windows RT 8.1?

I have a first gen Surface and when I try to download Halo Channel it says I don’t meet the requirements. I’m assuming it doesn’t work on RT.

Same problem here, my friend. Hoping maybe when the Windows Phone app drops it’ll show up for RT. From what I’m gathering on the forums, the ARM processors are the problem. They said ALL Windows 8.1 devices which gives me hope for when the phone app comes out it’ll work on the RT. That would be a big oversight for 343i if they forgot about the many Surface RT owners… especially since all we get are Marketplace apps!!

I’m sure that this whole process is immensely more complicated than those of us on the outside can consider. I assume and hope that ARM will be supported soon. Here’s a screenshot of what the app in the Windows Store is currently telling us:

I’m sure that it is complicated. All that different codes… A bit rude to say" why the hell"…

But I’m so excited!

I am also looking forward to installing this on my Surface too. As soon as I saw the announcement I clicked the link and went to the store but like others here I was unable to install it. This is rather disappointing but I am still looking forward to being able to sit back and soak up the Halo while my wife watches Strictly.

I also have the surface and would be greatly disappointed if I missed out on some exciting and cool content. I was pumped to DL the app thinking that my tablet would have worked. :confused: I can’t quite afford an Xbox one just yet. Hopefully next week lol.
