A few days ago I got an email saying I was accepted to play. Cool. It also said I’d receive a message on Halo Waypoint… Got nothing. I download infinite and press the start button. My account isn’t authorized to play infinite. I restart many times, same message. I look back at the email. It says if I can’t access the messages on waypoint click this highlighted link. I click the link. Says I’m not authorized. I go to waypoint, look at my flights, says the only flight I’ve ever been accepted to play is MCC Season 8 (which up until this point, was true). Why did I get an email saying I can play if everywhere else says I’m not authorized? This is insane.

I got invited through the Halo waypoint inbox and got the code for Steam download. Upon logging in, it says my account is not authorized. I am using the same xbox account as waypoint invitation.
I am having the same issue.
I have been getting the “not authorized” all morning. I looked at FAQ and it says that it could be due to multiple xbox accounts logged in, but it cant be that as i only have 1 account.
Not sure what is going on, but i would like to get in! lol
I believe this thing officially goes live 1 PM EST. I’m guessing you’ll be granted access at that time.
I got the same issue too
Yer got the same issue. got the invite and downloaded the game from Xbox Insider hub. Upon launching the game it would load for about 5 mins before saying I’m not authorised to play it. Really confused.
I have same issue, isnt first flight in 3 hours? Could that be the reason? but it says we should be granted access to certain parts of the game, like training.
it says: Weapon Drills and Training Mode, firsts for the Halo franchise, will both be available for you to play immediately upon download and will persist until the end of the flight. Feel free to jump in and begin practicing with various weapons as soon, and as often, as you like.

I was able to play the training last night but am back to no access at the moment. I’m thinking this is planned and things will open up in a few hours.

My friends could access the training drills, but I was, and still am, completely locked out
bruh same here, I don’t know why I can’t login when they gave me a steam code etc
this issue has happened twice to me, i cant fix it second time around 
Deleting the cache fixed it for me the first time.
Same for me. I played the last flight and everything went smooth. I get the main screen and hit the A button and it says that I’m not authorized to play. Where’s the monitor at in this forum?
