Halo doesn’t need assassinations again. It’s completely disruptive of a multi-player experience. I’m trying to get the back smack and move on to the next kill, not watch my spartan mutilate the guy while his teammate has the luxury of shooting me in my rear. All they do is slow down game play and that is NOT good.
Then don’t hold the button.

I love assassination animations. You know that you can just tap the melee button for a beat down instead of going into the assassination animation, right?

There’s been countless times where I tapped the melee button but ended up with an assassination anyway and it got me killed.

That was a glitch in Reach, they will most likely fix it.

It would be better if they added an option to disable it completely.

They should be less button sensitive though.
They should make it so that double tapping the RB starts the assassination.
