So i’ve started playing some 2v2 & 3v3, because i’m rubbish and always die first but… I’m given a penalty for resigning. So I have to sit there and watch while others play the game. Am I seriously expected to watch my teammates play the rest of the match which could be god knows how long? Why can’t I just not get a penalty if I die?
If you have enough resources to build a base, you have a timer that will count down. I think they give you like a minute to reestablish a base before the defeat is prompted and you can safely leave.

I have yet to play online. Played through campaign to get a feel for the controls and now starting Skirmishes to get into a play style. I’m hearing a lot of negative about online play that worries me…

Gameplay is awesome.
If you get penalty besides ranked points just because of you resign, it’s very bad. They need to check how SC2 handles this.

If your eliminated and want to not stay and watch then you should get less bonus.
If you stay and watch and callout then you should get the full amount.
That would be fair to me.
Not getting any bonus at all is broken as you are forced to watch a game go on.
I had to wait 40 mins for a teamate struggling against 3 AIs until he gave up anyway
