Is it true that the Halo 4 Teaser music wasn’t made by 343 but IGN?

I believe you are thinking of the HaloFest trailer, not the Halo 4 teaser.

yes that is true i forget which panel but yes they confirmed IGN made all the music shown so far for halo 4

Yes, they said at the Halo 4 panel that the Halo 4 E3 Teaser music was provided by IGN, not 343.

Ahh… misinformation alert!

To clarify things. It was the HaloFest Trailer’s music which was supplied by IGN. The soundtrack for the Halo 4 E3 Teaser Trailer was provided by 343 Industries, I believe.
