This game does not even feel like Halo. I have been a fan of the series for over ten years now, and I loved the things that were done with 5 and its mutiplayer despite all the backlash that got from the real OGs, but I cannot abide by infinite. It took away every good multiplayer advance that was made in 5 without adding anything worthwhile. And just when I thought that I could almost take it with a grain of salt and enjoy the gameplay for what it is, I realize that almost ALL customization options are locked unless you purchase the battlepass. That is in poor taste and extremely unfair. I would rather pay for the game itself one time and be able to unlock things through a REQ pack system similar to Halo 5 than to have to fool around with a battlepass. It adds nothing to the game except for a moneygrubbing atmosphere. Additionally, the color customization is extremely underwhelming, as you only get to choose from premade color schemes. This game took all the progress that had been made in 5 and threw it right in the trash. So sad to see this.
