Not a Fan of the Movement Sounds

Now this is a EXTREMELY small detail, insignificant at that. I also want this to be purely for constructive purposes going forward.
Now, the sound for sprinting and walking, more so on hard surfaces (like rock, metal, glass, etc) drives me absolutely insane. If I am to compare it to anything, it sounds like if I were to move around or start running in dress shoes, just a whole lot of “clicks” and “clacks” and not a monstrous thumping or stomping of a 2 ton hulking mass of metal and muscle.
Now I don’t know a thing about sound design aside that it seems like a grueling process (which I respect and admire the work put into it a lot) but going forward, try not to have my Spartan sound like a mesh of plastic. I know you have the talent and people 343, so give us something that sounds more epic, thunderous or heavy (if that makes sense)

I’m personally fine with the base movement speed sound. That sounds fine to me really, but I do agree about the sprinting footstep sounds. Just sounds like you’re stepping on a field of legos.

Legos? Dude, that hurts like a b****!

Dude, the sounds in this game are on point perfection.

(Almost)

(they epic)

Halo 4 seems like it tried to go for a heavy sound…

But, the sounds got annoying over time for me.

Yea, I just think there to loud honestly. Maybe get rid of some of the raddaling from the zippers and make your character feel a little less clunky.

It may sound real, but I’m not really feeling it.

Yeah, I like it a lot quieter.

I’ll re-word it. It’s like stepping on a field of legos, MINUS the screaming from the pain of one of those jabbing into your feet.

Hm, I haven’t noticed

Well it’s a lot better than halo 2 all the way to halo reach, in those games it sounded like you were running around in ballet slippers.
