This maybe an unpopular opinion. But i really liked the mangler how it was. It was truly a power pistol. I know the pros loath it but im not a pro and most of you are not either. I found it just fine in amateur level play. They should have fixed how it spawns. Treating it like any other power weapon with one on the map at all times.

Mangler should’ve never been nerfed for slayer, as a majorly swat guy I’ve said numerous times, it has no place in swat but it is a top tier slayer weapon, and deserves to be

How significant was the nerf? I’ve tried it out a few times but I haven’t had a chance to really get an idea on how much it changed from when I did.
Hard to tell when it’s difficult to engage people 1 vs 1 without someone elses contributing.
It looked like I was still able to Shoot + melee for quick kills. But as I said, my teammates were shooting which might be why it appeared to still kill like it did before the patch.

You can’t shootslap anymore but you can slapshoot easily, and it’s still a 3SK perfect at a Tier 1 weapon pad.
In other words, all it doesn’t do is the shotgun’s job. Otherwise it’s still mega busted.

There was nothing wrong with it before.
No adjustment for it was necessary, other than placing it to Tier 2.

Bro I literally go positives with maulers, it’s not the fact of not being good at it, it just a -Yoink!- weapon for swat
Its the most skillful weapon out of all of the swat variant weapons imo
