Norse Mythology References in Halo 5

So I’ve been reading “Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard,” which is basically Percy Jackson but with Norse mythology, and I’ve realized that there are many Norse Mythology references in Halo 5 (I’m not sure about the other Halo games, because I haven’t played them). One is the Nornfang. Norns are three spirits who decide fate. Also, Unfrigginbelievable medal, which may come from Frigg, a Norse Goddess. I thought these references were pretty interesting, anyone find any others?

PS this is my first forum, sorry if I did something wrong.

What’s up with everybody calling individual threads forums? As far as I know, the word forum refers to the whole part of the website with all the threads, or topics, if you will.

Anyway on topic, yes Halo has plenty of Norse mythology references. Mjolnir is the most prominent example, I’d say.

Valhalla / Ragnarok?

Halo has a whole bunch of references to norse mythology: Mjolnir, Gungnir, Yggdrasil, and then of course the aforementioned Valhalla and Ragnarok.

With that said, I think Unfrigginbeliavable is stretching it a bit. "Friggin’ " is just a contraction of “frigging”, which is a completely English word.

EDIT: then there’s of course Jotun, and basically everything on Harvest.

My bad, I’m pretty new to forums. But yeah, that is a good example.
