Nornfang. That legendary sniper rifle of Linda-058. Meaning “Grasp of the Norns”, no foe can escape the clutches of fate. Founded in honor of that Valkyrie Spartan II, we are agents of Fate and the gods.
Nornfang is a company following the Norse culture. Created with those of the Ásatrú belief and those with an interest in Norse culture and lore in mind, Nornfang strives to fight with honor; taking glory (and SR) with wins, defeat with humility, and rising evermore to greater challenges. We are designed as a social Company, opting for fellowship rather than skill.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Heathen / Asatru belief - Genuine interest in Norse / Germanic / Slavic culture - Active on chat (Xbox) or forumsThe gods will not do for us what we would not do for ourselves, so grab your weapon and join us in the battle! But remember; they don’t let ONI into Valhalla.
Two more members needed to make this Company active
Spartan boozer2017 has joined the meadhall! One more to make this group active.
Company name changed. We are active, but still recruiting.
Second wave of recruiting!
While playing, I typically send invites to players with gamertags or call signs referencing Norse mythology. (e.g. Fenrir, ODIN, THOR, ragnarok_bringer, etc) For Spartans that I don’t play against, however, we’ve going to fire up the forums again.
Nornfang is designed to be a casual Company. Built around fellowship and family, rather than rank and achievement, the goal is to build a community of like-minded Spartans for a variety of needs.
So what are your require ments to join how often do you play what do you play I’m really into arena what’s the name change too also when does the team play
Requirements added to the OP.
As for frequency of play, there aren’t any scheduled play times (yet, at least.) I myself try to play at least twice a week, most on Tuesday and Wednesday (my days off), but optimally every evening. I mostly play SWAT, but also enjoy Warzone.
The name change was from “Spartans of Odin” to “Nornfang”; a more elegant Company name, easy to remember, and in line with single-word Spartan Companies like Majestic, Crimson, Castle, etc.
