Nope. This game needs to be delayed AGAIN.

The idiot meter is off the scale due to this ridiculously poor decision to launch without a necessary game feature. This HAS to be in the game. Halo 5 all over again and it’s really destroyed they hype I had for this game. Day one was literally going to be a split-screen fiesta all day. So much for feeling like halo. Guess I’ll just play campaign by myself and have a friend watch or something. So screwed up.

Endlessly commenting on here won’t change the facts. However, they haven’t delivered on what they promised for launch. That I agree with, But I can forgive it considering the past 2 years they have been in lockdown which has made things even harder for them.

> Game is complete, just doesn’t have everything there. Oh yeah, nice definition of complete. Here’s a complete meal just without the burger.

No, that analogy is terrible, The burger would be the campaign and that is in the game. It’s a burger without the salad etc.

This news broke a few hours ago, and you are already tired of it. If this little time is all it takes then well you said it yourself “I’ve just no patience.” I have a hard time believing any degree of complaints would have been acceptable to you if this is all it takes.

> Is it ideal? No is it hell But I accept the reality of the situation and knew this could crop up. They have had to spend two years without being in the studio together and putting this game together. They want to get it right those features but they also accept a great many the actual majority play the campaign on solo so they want to keep to their release date and bring the coop campaign side of it asap after release which is roughly 90 days which is nothing considering how long halo games usually last.

I’m more concerned with what they were doing with the 5 years prior to covid so that is again not an excuse. If they are going to choose to put out the minimum viable product they get to live with the consequences.

Only if you don’t understand irony or context. I don’t personally “need” forge or co-op given I don’t seriously forge and my first campaign playthrough is always solo, I’m just capable of empathy for other people and understand when I’m getting short changed. I am willing to wait for the benefit of people who are not me and in order to get my money’s worth.

And you are right 3-6 months isn’t really a long time so I guess we can all wait a bit longer so we can enjoy it together. Welcome to over an hour ago.

Oh, I’m capable of empathy as well. Just not choosing a smaller portion of the whole. If you don’t need it, then don’t advocate for it to be delayed, it doesn’t affect you obviously. Welcome to over an hour ago? Sorry I don’t live on forums and choose to reply to comments that catch my attention.

I bet 10 doritos bags they will release the campaign in a episode format for $15 each one and drop the updates for old gen soon after the last episode, this is beyond subrreal, 5 years and we get a wacky gameplay trailler, one year more and they hyped us in purpose with the MP flight so they can make us accept this event, god i wish to forget this day i want to take my heart from my body a throw it to the sky so it explodes like a nuke, they outdone themselves once again with their incompetence something that was supposed to be impossible even for them.

If they delay it further then I actually won’t be able to play it much until about July. I have some time over winter break to play and then I’m busy for months. Just avoid reading halo related news and forums for three months if you’re afraid of spoilers.

Never played campaign, never made any maps on forge. All I care about is multiplayer and playing competitively on non-forge made maps. I got everything I wanted in this game and I’m excited.

Just lol @ this disaster of a game already. I wonder where they were in development last year, like wow. C’mon. I bet you anything 343 will monetize forge. Pay 5$ for and you get this to use to build, etc. Halo is done for. Oh well. Everything good must come to an end eventually.

*Forge is core game.*I don’t even forge, and I understand this.

Yea put MP out ASAP, delay campaign if you must, but not having co-op on launch is ludicrous. I’m torn.

If your empathy doesn’t apply to people in a less advantageous position than you or perceived majority it isn’t worth much.

Delaying the game in order to benefit the entire community. The more content available at launch the less catch-up they have to do later. A fully featured Halo game benefits everyone regardless much any given individual will utilize any individual feature.

Burger without sauce and fillings more like it. Just bread and the patty. The main idea of the meal but no flavour to enjoy it properly. The only thing terrible here is your lacking standards.

God forbid you might have to wait a little bit longer to get what you want… you see the irony in that statement right? 3 months isn’t a long wait, so you’ll either have to wait 6 months, or play it in 3 with the rest of us when it releases.

I don’t personally “need” forge or co-op given I don’t seriously forge and my first campaign playthrough is always solo, I’m just capable of empathy for other people and understand when I’m getting short changed. I am willing to wait for the benefit of people who are not me and in order to get my money’s worth.

Welcome to over an hour ago? Sorry I don’t live on forums and choose to reply to comments that catch my attention.

But that’s the thing, it doesn’t benefit the entire community, just a handful of people who refuse to play so for one reason or another. It does not benefit the game in any way to dely it.

There will be battle passes to progress, weekly challenges and fracture events to participate in, an entirely new non linear campaign to play through, and plenty of memories to be made. Im sure the features will be worth the wait, but I see no real reason why we shouldn’t play the features that are already finished while we wait for the unfinished ones to be completed. Just my opinion, I am sure many will disagree.

But the point is that majority of people want to play Co op first. You only get one time to play a game for the first time with friends. And that’s exactly what people want

To play Halo Infinite campaign the first time with their friends

Only thing I care about is single player campaign SOLO. This game was made for solo players, to be experienced by yourself, before you play with friends for the achievements.

Ok, well I don’t and I’m not. I’ll rock-paper-scissors you for the high ground.

Jokes aside, it’s not about the wait. It’s about the overall impact forge has had on the game itself, its intrinsic value to the development of the franchise, and the reality that a Halo game that is ostensibly selling itself on hearkening back to Halo’s glory days cannot validly release without a mode that is frankly baked into Halo’s identity.
