Nope. This game needs to be delayed AGAIN.

Except you already have a home. Are you really that eager to move down the street into your new home that you can’t wait three summer months until it’s ready?

Well then there you go. It doesn’t matter if it’s another 3 months before the house is ready. You already like where you live, which means Infinite house can finish being completed before anyone moves in; no need to rush in.

To be fair I also don’t want anyone else moving into this hypothetical house I’m apparently moving into. I hate hosting company.

You can walk in and have as many fries as you want. You don’t have to buy a burger. The Campaign is the only food you’re ordering and it’s the only thing you’re paying for. The Campaign is the burger. It’s a double cheeseburger and we’re being given a single even though we paid for a double. We bought the double because we wanted two patties.

You would choose eating the second patty separately? Really?

Sure sure, I like how you gleaned all that rambling from me saying it was a poor analogy and cited that multiplayer is free so my analogy is false. What utter twoddle! Whether it’s free or not doesn’t matter it’s still a main component of the game and in this analogy the two patties are the main parts of the burger so that would be multiplayer and campaign.

This is like buying a house but the contractor tells you the study, a room which you CAN use but don’t have to will be ready in a bit after it’s done. Because co-op and forge, like the study in a home, isn’t 100% integral to the home or purchase. It’s an added bonus in the home or in this case, the game.
>
> Oh, the co-op is not the entire campaign but a tiny singular side mission? Oh, it is the full campaign? Then your analogy falls apart. Co-op is like having a furnace and AC. Yeah, you can have a house without them and it will technically work, and you don’t always need a furnace or AC, but it’s really nice to have them when you need them and makes the difference between a nice day at home and going elsewhere for the day.

So campaign is only functional if played with other people? Is campaign incapable of functioning without co-op? Just like the study isn’t needed, it’s a cool room to have, not one that absolutely NEEDS to be there. You’re capable of playing the full campaign without co-op so that point is useless, it’s a “side feature” not the main one. Making it less of a necessity and more of a bonus…like the study of a house, an optional room.

I don’t understand why in every situation you create for this you make it seem as if co-op and forge are integral to multiplayer and campaign…as if they aren’t optional modes that one can completely ignore and still attain the core experience. You don’t HAVE to play co-op to experience single player, just like you don’t HAVE to play forge to experience multiplayer. They are and always have been optional modes not the core of the experience itself

YES IT DOES MATTER. You want to pretend it doesn’t? OK, then, child. We ordered a triple, paid for a triple and only received a double. No matter how many times you try to change this analogy to fit your new asinine argument, you lose.

People play Halo for campaign, co-op and competitive. The franchise became popular because of those three core components. You can’t have a complete mainline Halo product without all three being available. Period.

So co-op is relegated to a tiny portion of the campaign? Because that’s the only way your analogy works. You can have a house without a furnace and AC and sometimes that’s perfectly fine and other times it makes the experience of being in that house way more enjoyable.

> 2533274883893694;290:
> You’re capable of playing the full campaign without co-op so that point is useless,it’s a “side feature” not the main one. Making it less of a necessity and more of a bonus…like the study of a house, an optional room.

Just because you are incapable of reasoning doesn’t mean it is useless.
In all other Halos you’re capable of playing the full campaign in co-op. For everybody else that actually likes to play with others, singleplayer is the side feature and co-op is the necessity. Singleplayer is the bonus.
And I don’t even want to mention the study again because you are so God awful at analogies it really hurts. If the campaign is the house the rooms are levels. Co-op isn’t relegated to it’s own unique and distinct level. It hurts thinking that you are probably legally allowed to drive and vote yet are so bad at making comparisons. It’s chilling.

Hey keep your Strawman bile escaping from your mouth and swallow. Where did I say Forge was a must for launch? I didn’t. You’re just trying to Strawman because you’re pathetic. Don’t you lie about what I said.

> 2533274883893694;290:
> …as if they aren’t optional modes that one can completely ignore and still attain the core experience

The core experience for others IS the co-op. For them, the singleplayer is NOT a core experience; it is only an irrelevent, ancillary bullet point, non-value add, side effect of having a cooperative campaign.

Since Halo has released the three core pillars of the experience have been cooperative, competitive, and campaign. Those are the three things that people enjoy from Halo. Sometimes players want to play with somebody, sometimes they want to play against somebody and sometimes they want to play by themselves.

> 2533274883893694;290:
> You don’t HAVE to play co-op to experience single player, just like you don’t HAVE to play forge to experience multiplayer. They are and always have been optional modes not the core of the experience itself

You didn’t HAVE to play singleplayer to experience the campaign in EVERY SINGLE OTHER HALO. Singleplayer is and has always been an optional mode for people who primarily play the game specifically to play with other people. Single player is not part of the core experience for them and not why they bought the game.

Most of your counter points are pretty biased towards assuming coop is an essential function and not a bonus feature. Coop is a bonus feature that has always set apart Halo from other franchises and shouldn’t be given no value. But it’s definitely not essential if you consider the package as a whole. It is and always will be a bonus we expect as a given. Just saying…

The idiot meter is off the scale due to this ridiculously poor decision to launch without a necessary game feature. This HAS to be in the game. Halo 5 all over again and it’s really destroyed they hype I had for this game. Day one was literally going to be a split-screen fiesta all day. So much for feeling like halo. Guess I’ll just play campaign by myself and have a friend watch or something. So screwed up.

Like the failure of halo 5 to launch without forge killed a lot of the custom game community. It’s these basics that attribute to the lacking success of games during their launches. It’s simply not good enough and is blatantly incompetent. Just because it doesn’t affect you doesn’t give you the right to be an inconsiderate -Yoink-.
> > > > > > > > > >
> > > > > > > > > > It didn’t kill it that game died for lots of reasons you have to admit that. So either play the campaign solo first and play it in 90 days after release coop or just wait for the 90 period then play it Coop problem solved. Meanwhile the rest of us can enjoy the game for what it is.
> > > > > > > > >
> > > > > > > > > And another reason was the lack of coop. Why should I have to wait 90 days for an experience that should be done on the first day? Problem isn’t solved. So tell me, on launch how do I play coop campaign on legendary. A staple of the game that myself and a dozen of my friends do with every halo (except for 5).

The Majority of people play multiplayer and they will be able to enjoy split screen etc. It can’t be helped if it’s not ready. Get over it and either enjoy the game or choose not to play it. Endlessly commenting on here won’t change the facts. However, they haven’t delivered on what they promised for launch. That I agree with, But I can forgive it considering the past 2 years they have been in lockdown which has made things even harder for them.

This is like buying a house but the contractor tells you the study, a room which you CAN use but don’t have to will be ready in a bit after it’s done. Because co-op and forge, like the study in a home, isn’t 100% integral to the home or purchase. It’s an added bonus in the home or in this case, the game.

Straw man? Like yours relegating a bonus feature to equating co-op to a tiny portion of campaign instead of the bonus feature of playing campaign in a multiplayer setting? That same campaign that is designed around a single player experience and THEN the multiplayer component is tacked on at a later point as a bonus feature*?* It’s quite telling actually that you can’t respond to me without attacking me with petty insults. Your original analogy is seeming to be centered around your biased opinion, over a completely optional feature. Wether you or others don’t play Halo campaign in a single player mode doesn’t deny the fact the campaign is built around a single player experience. Why is it that only 1 Spartan appears per cut scene in Halo’s 1-reach? 1 Rookie? It’s almost as if…the game is designed as a single player experience with the added BONUS of playing that campaign in a multiplayer experience if you choose to, ergo optional. Optional like using the study of a home or even choosing to have one in your house :slightly_smiling_face:, take your pathetic god awful opinion somewhere else bud. It’s a wonder you have friends if this is how you talk to people

> 2535471392625010;1:
> This is absolutely ridiculous. You’ve had 6 years to develop this game but you can’t have campaign co-op or forge at launch? What the hell is happening with this studio? This can’t be another Halo 5 situation 343, it just can’t be.

Nah they can’t delay it again, it’ll cost them too much.

Halo, has always been a single player game, Meant for SOLO players, cause not everyone could afford the internet or Xbox live. So they could play offline, if co-op was fundamental to these campaigns, then it would of been like destiny, which it is not.

> People play Halo for campaign, co-op and competitive. The franchise became popular because of those three core components. You can’t have a complete mainline Halo product without all three being available. Period.

What a nimrod you actually are.

of. It doesn’t matter in the context I am talking multiplayer is a main component of this game whether it’s free or not it’s still one of the main selling points and why a lot pick it up to play so my analogy is spot on.

I think 343I heart is in the right place, but honestly, I think they announced Infinite a little to soon. To me what makes a Halo a Halo is this:

  • Campaign - Match Making Competitive/Casual modes - Spartan/Sangheili Customization - Custom Games - Forge - Theater Mode
The thing I noticed about 343I thus far is they have one really big habbit that is a major flaw of theirs. They do go really all out, what we’ve seen is pretty good, however it’s always only just in that one area. IN short everytime they do something good, but bounce back with bad news or situations. Honestly Infnite not have any of the modes above makes it a failure. The Halo Community is not a Community you can cut corners with. This isn’t a repeat of Halo 5, it’s worse IMO. Please 343I, take your time making this, don’t rush it out. You’ve done good so far, I bet people would be satisfied with the Insider Program for awhile.
