My last game, I had a 4 on 4 where the highest other on the game was SR 14. I went 19 positive with 25 kills. And the best part? Only one of my team went negative, but the entire enemy went negative. 
I ranked up past SR 61, and 62 to 63, all because I completed the monthly challenge then. It couldn’t have gone better! Except mebbe a perfection.
matchmaking is broken and if i was on the other team I would throw out my copy of halo 4
