Noob question about armor skin from preorders

I have a question about the armor skins that was packed in with all the preorders.

I bought my game a couple days after it came out, but a friend just gave me the download code for CIO Web.

Sorry for the noob question but I suppose this download comes with both the CIO armor and an armor skin- WEB? So do I get to toggle the armor skin on and off for my CIO armor, or is it a fixed design on it.

Also, will I still get the chance to get the regular CIO armor unlocked when I hit Spartan Slayer Master?

The armour skin you unlocked is fixed to the armour. It can’t be toggled on or off, you will have that armour with that specific skin unlocked. So if you want the default CIO armour, you’ll have to unlock it.

Basically it just gives you a set of armor with that particular skin. It can’t be removed, each set has two skins. They show in the menu right next to each other as if they were two different pieces of armor.

You will be able to unlock the default variant for CIO as you normally would.
