How do the light turn off?
As far as I’m aware, there’s no way to turn the lights on or off. They do so automatically depending on whether you’re in a dark or bright environment.
You cannot turn off the lights. You can make the red lights come on in the back by using the handbrake, similar to the warthogs.
I don’t even know what button to push to honk the horn… lol.
It might be a certain mongoose that has lights and some that don’t. Just like how some have guns and some dont
You can’t switch off the lights on any vehicle at all.

The most effective way to shut of the lights is probably to get off the mongoose, start peppering it with bullets until it explodes. Once its blown up, the lights won’t ever be turned on anymore!

Side note. I, for the life of me, can’t understand how some people wreck shop with the gungoose. I can’t get a single kill with that thing and get destroyed the second I’m on one. Other players however, they seem to own everything on the back of one while they manically honk that stupid horn. gungoose > ghost when I’m on the Ghost… I don’t get it.

I have the same problem. It’s frustrating cause I want to get that gungoose kill commendation but it’s painfully slow.

The Mongoose maintained the horn as well.

The toughest thing with the gungoose is getting used to where it seems like the gun is pointing NOT being where the gun will fire. It took me playing through the cone shooting for the skull on Evacuation a few times before I fully appreciated how the directional fire works on it.

Its RIGHT TRIGGER. Don’t worry I had that confusion too so, you’re not alone

To be entirely fair the horn was first added in Halo 2.
Have you tried taking out all of the headlight fluid?
