I have not been able to play as much as I wanted do to a problem with me connecting to the game or something but…
I tried the noob combo with about 3 different guns and found it felt a little to easy. The plasma pistol projectile speed feels either to fast or to hard to doge at times with the speed it would cross the map. This is not necessarily the issue. I feel if you preform an overcharged shot you should not be able to immediately switch weapons’ and have a headshot ready as the plasma hits the target. and with the headshot potential I’ve seen from a lot of the guns I feel this could be very annoying to deal with.
I suggest not being able to switch weapons’ with the plasma pistol until the over heat animation is over. This will make its potential time to kill go up by at least a good half to a second longer.
