NonBoss Banshees need to be removed from WZFF Apex

Okay I get the fact that WZFF is supposed to be challenging, but getting one-shot by Banshees on round 3 when trying to kill a legendary boss, 4 to be exact, is abosolute bull! First off, nobody is a high enough REQ level to be ABLE to kill the legendary bosses, and secondly, nobody has any weapons that can kill a one-shot banshee! All I’m saying is nerf the banshees, hell the entire AI damage system needs nerfing, the Mythic bosses are the only ones who should be able to one-shot you, everything else should act like it does on Heroic campaign, and the legendary bosses act like they are on legendary, not super-steroid legendary.

Yeah I agree. I had the same issue yesterday, even tho we spawn some turrets it was a massacre, our home team kept getting killed by 4 banshee shots. Not to mention how the banshee bomb have some homing behavior. By far, that’s the worst round I’ve encountered.

Yeah 343i desperately need to fix the enemy and boss spawning for particular rounds, like preventing legendary bosses from spawning before round 4.

Sometimes i feel like enemies only have to look at you for your spartan to fall over. Seriously a banshee banks and fires and your dead in about a second.

Yeah WZFF damage ratios are extremely unbalanced, I’m all for heroic difficulty enemies, cause those are fun to take down with teammates, but it seems the only enemies whose difficulty isn’t automatically mythic are Grunts, Jackals, and basic Elites.

They need to get rid of infinite respawning enemies if anything.

I have encountered a lot these banshee’s fight and only remember succeed it once, and it’s frustrating they kill you faster than halo 2 banshees

Too true. In a round five on Apex I killed two remaining Knights whilst trying to reach Deacon Yipap, and 8 more spawned all around my tank. I was promptly slaughtered.

Exactly! This is what is referred to as “unbalanced” and all of those “git gud” sayers don’t seem to understand the fact that “getting gud” will not change anything, impossbile rounds are %100 impossible, like the double wardens in round 3 on apex. Seriously “git gud” has never been used by the Halo community until Halo 5.

There needs to be less of them for sure. In one of the last rounds where you had to kill the phantom and the temple wraith, My team had a hard time spawning vehicles because the vehicle cap was reached for a warzone game, and there were like 10+ AI banshees flying around the wraith.

What we really need is the easier rounds from the Beta, like the Banshee raiders that come in, then never actually shoot anyone. WZFF should be a casual, relaxing experience.

I hate the round 2 banshees on Apex. I’m always shooting them with my level 2 REQs from inside the mountain bunker. You don’t know how many times I get killed from their ridiculous aiming. Their fuel rod has a larger than expected AOE. Their shots hit the outside of the bunker but yet kills me when I try to dodge. They’re also able to shoot through the time slit in the walls. AND their shields/health regenerate pretty fast if there’s no team focus fire…with your level 2 assault rifles.

I beat the 2 warden round 3 earlier today. Of course I got lucky with a Wraith from an uncommon req 3 random vehicle.

And then lost on round 5 with Deacon Yipap :frowning:

It’s all about the REQ’s being pulled.
I had someone pull a Needle Hog and he parked me just right near the central spire. I wasted 12 Banshee’s and assisted with 14 others that entire game.
But I will agree, even when they don’t fire their big shot at you, Banshee’s seem to have a stupid TTK with their blasters. If your not focused on the one firing at you 100%, then it’ll drop you in a heartbeat. No damage to shield, just straight to the face dead.

Yeah they can get annoying…

bruh, Urban is worse;
how about the 4 legendary temple raider banshees and their 4 normal banshee escorts. on round 3. on a map which usually gives you easy first and second rounds wherr you can splatter every enemy and where the majority of the team is stuck at req lvl 3.

on apex you at least have some cover…

Exactly! The competitive players have Arena and Warzone/Assault, us casuals should at least have firefight.
