Given the effort 343i put into the REQ’s and Warzone in Halo 5, I expect their return in Halo 6.
If so, please don’t repeat the current REQ system.
This is my suggestion for what the system should be in Halo 6. Make the REQ’s non-consumable, so people aren’t reluctant to call them in. This would also require a better energy system. Instead of an energy meter with recharging points and a gradually increasing limit, energy points should be obtained with kills, assists, base captures, et cetera, and be without limit. For example: with each kill, I get 10 energy points. With 50 energy points, I can call in a sniper rifle. With 100 energy points, I can call in a Mantis
A system like this would have players worrying less about dying and wasting another sniper rifle, and worrying more about getting enough energy to call in an ONI Scorpion.
This is just a suggestion on how I think it should work. But whatever the next REQ system is:
It better not be this one.
