I was rewatching the gameplay demo (as one does) and noticed that the reticle was centered. Do we know if this is going to be on all versions of the game? Halo has generally had a lower crosshair and was wondering if we knew anything about that.
The game will most likely have just a centered crosshair, as Halo 5 had a centered crosshair with no option to change it. Halo MCC on PC has the option to have either a centered or lowered crosshair, but MCC on console does not have that same option. I personally prefer a centered crosshair but I do hope they give the option.

Unfortunately I don’t think we will, 343 are hellbent on modernising Halo sadly. Although I would LOVE to have lowered crosshair back.
For competitive reasons, I imagine the centered crosshair will be in the full release. I would also prefer the lowered crosshair. It gives a better view of the area above you, something which works well with Halo’s verticality. But, I don’t have a problem with either and not having a lowered crosshair is by no means a major issue for me.

I didn’t even notice that Halo 5 had a centered crosshair. Then again, I feel like it really only adds to the experience in campaign to emphasize the environment and I barely played H5’s campaign.
I don’t get the big deal about the lowered cross hair, and I honestly prefer it being centered. I don’t see how it benefits the game in any way, but of course having a toggle is the best option.
Having a lower crosshair means I can see more, which is nice. At least it seems that way. If we ask for an option to have a lowered crosshair, no doubt they’d add it.
A big brain option would be to have a slider to put the cross hair exactly where you want it. That would be kinda sweet. I prefer center myself, but that would be a great option to have.
