I don’t have the clip, but we got cored on Noctus with one base left. I went into theater and looked. 2 reds (I was blue) and a traitor blue used a Warthog to bypass the barrier.
The blue was driving and they set it up so the red got in right as they passed the shield door.
One of the reds then used an Arclight to blow up the core even through its sealed container.
343, I hope you fix this. Fix the shield door bypass and the ability to destroy a sealed core. Also, to make matters worse, I just pulled a Phaeton Helios as this happened. So also 343, you owe me a Helios.
Not too interested in playing Warzone if this can be easily replicated outside of Noctus as well.
Yes this is a big problem at its finest that many people have & will experience in the future. These exploits have been founded by the community not too long ago, so you would expect people to abuse them whenever they can.
It’s already a problem that people are publicly advertising that exploit of such power, others will learn it after them, and they are the ones to blame for the downfall of the community experiences of the game.
(Edit) - This doesn’t just happen on Noctus, but on any map in rotation.
Wow, I saw some try to do it with a grenade launcher, but I assasinated him. But, it should off made the reds jump out of the vehicle when they hit the barrier.

Seems to be something recent, the folks who discovered it started promoting it a ton and sooner or later it’s gonna collapse into being a killer like the WZA armory captures

Tends to go something like this:
Step 1 - Discover glitch
Step 2 - Exploit it for a while
Step 3 - Tell everyone else to exploit it
Step 4 - Get banned; temporarily or permanently
Step 5 - Complain about “unfairly” getting banned and rage a ton and/or try to justify their exploiting
Step 6 - Repeat for next glitch discovered

Glitches in a nutshell. However, if I do see/find a cool glitch I’ll use it for a couple days but soon get uninterested.

If it doesn’t hamper the game any I might as well; like the glitches abundant in H2/H3 while in Forge. Overloading maps with tripmines and making elephants fly aah~
But seriously… These people could be considered heroes of the community if they handled these things by keeping silent and reporting them to 343 in private, rather than exploiting the everloving yoink out of them and then spreading the word around to everyone else. I often hear people say “Well if 343 fixed their games this wouldn’t be a problem!” - well you’re contributing to that problem man by doing these things. But I digress.

True true, I’d probably do it like 2 or three times, then report it.

Wow, props to the guys that figured this glitch out.
Yeah our protagonist did this on stream a couple days ago and I clipped it and my buddy sent to 343 but other people in the community thought it would be cool to bring awareness to the glitch by doing it multiple times and posting it to YOUTUBE. Instead of confiding it to 343 they put it on youtube for everyone to see so now this game breaking glitch is going to become more and more common. Let’s just hope it’s patched in this upcoming wz update.

Figured it out then put up videos for everyone to see detailing on how to do it rather than reporting it, and thus setting up the WZ community to suffer from people exploiting it. shrugs
Happened to me not too long ago. I managed to find and record the guys who did it via theater, and I’m planning to send it to some people who can show it to the higher ups. What makes it worse is that I looked up the guy who shot the core, and he’s 152…shame, really.
To be honest, the people who first shed light onto this really needed to keep their mouths shut. By not doing so, they made the situation worse than it needed to be. They can use the “the community needed to know” and “it gets patched faster when everyone complains” argument all they want, but it doesn’t hide the fact that they made it worse. If they just refrained from showing it on social media and just got in contact with Uny or Ske7ch, then this wouldn’t need to be said. But they did, and IMO there needs to be consequences for doing so.
