Why will nobody join me at spartan ops?
I got it set up for OPEN , not private or friends only.
I have played through about 7 chapters and not one person joins me.
I started with EP:1 and now on EP:2 chapter 2.
If I want to play Co-Op do I have to skipp the first 7 episodes just to play Co-Op, because I can join EP:8. I cannot join EP:1-7 because they are not being played.
You can only do matchmaking for the episode 343 has up.
For now, it’s eight, and tomorrow it will be nine. Get some friends together or ask for others to join ya on the forums.
The only episodes playable for matchmaking Spartan Ops is the current featured episode: the latest release. This week is episode 8, next week will be episode 9, and 10 will be the week after that.
If you want to do co-op in the older Spartan Ops episodes, the only way to do so is to invite people on your friends list or recent players. Also, if you’ve already started playing a chapter, then no one will be able to join you, the party has to start from the lobby…
That is totally stupid, I got a new xbox live account just to play Spartan Ops, Luckly I am on a free trial so I can just let it go at the end of 30 days and just only buy multiplayer games for the PS3. I really do not see the point of having to have xbox live to play spartan ops if nobody can join you in all but one episode.

I am now done with all future halo games, I should have known better because BUNGIE did it right even if it wasn’t on time it was always a great game every time.

Sadly that’s what happens when you don’t dedicate that 60$ for a year, i know $60 is a lot of money(not really).XBL charm is not with well stuff like what you expected, but with the ability to meet and befriend other people online and play games together.Nothing is stopping you from playing with other people in any way.Just saying.
There a benefit to playing a game since release, you get to exp everything the game has to offer.You simply decided to join in too late, that is all.Dont worry once season 1 of spartan ops is finished, im sure it will go on rotation like how episodes 1-5 were before episode 6 started up.So its not forever definite that you cannot play with pugs in other missions in the future.
