Finally got all of the essentials downloaded for the MCC and jumped into matchmaking but I can’t seem to get anybody through matchmaking, I’ve tried searching in each playlist for a total of 10 minutes each and I’m still not finding anybody. Are the servers still not working correctly? Server status claims to be up for the MCC along with Xbox Live’s server status (only Xbox 360 seems to be affected as of 21:10 EST)
I honestly seems like everyone has moved pn to a game that fucntions better though its cray to think but i honestly think theres no one playing MCC anymor well not as many as th day one i just play advance warfare even thogh it has a shady shot registration its still fn just when you shoot expect yourf first three shots to not register thats the average as it seems trust me my ports all ope to call of duty and its still has the issue because theres no dedicated servers.
I agree, I think that the game is actually working as it should have done to begin with at the moment, however the entire player base has evacuated this disaster.
I ‘WAS’ (past tense) a HUGE Halo fan, and even I am sick of this mess of a game…I’d hate to think how quickly the casual players with a passing interest in it left if big fans like myself have left. And the casual player base, is so important for a game to be successful.
I have actually moved onto Age of Empires II lol…Now that game works!
There is no population count, so no way to tell. My friends (30+ Halo fans) play other games now.
I play on the weekends and I can get into like a btb game in less than 3min. But there are some days where I’m sitting waiting for players and 10min later, no one. But on good days I can get matches back to back. That being said, there are days where I just shut off the xbox and watch tv cause I can’t find a freakin game
The H5 beta is splitting the Halo population. I would expect better search times when the beta ends.
Would be nice if they include an indicator to show how many players are online and how many are playing each playlist, much like other games that are out, this way I know I am searching for a game in a playlist that other people are in

This. Just for my own curiosity. I miss the old map with the dots in H3.
I was able to find a couple games without any issue yesterday while the Halo 5 beta was down for server maintenance. I’m sure there were a bunch of other people doing the same thing, which probably made it easy. The population has definitely dwindled in MCC since the beta came out. It should pop back up once the beta is over provided that A) the next update comes out before the beta is over and B) it makes significant improvements.

All things are anecdotal but my friends have moved on.
its going to take a miracle patch. Fundamentally the match making system they are using is broken. They have to somehow fix it.

I’ve been playing the beta to both check it out and wait for MCC to be fixed.

No one is really playing MCC because their last patch F-ed it all up again. Many players like myself moved onto other games. I got so fed up with MCC, I bought Destiny and don’t regret it one bit. Hopefully this next patch this week fixes what the last one broke.
