Who remembers BPR from reach?
Now if you ask someone in a lobby what it is, do you think there know. i doubt they even care. Now lets go back to Halo3 knew what there skill rating was in the playlist that they was playing and this kept players interested.
CSR is just going to be a improved BPR that nobody is going to care about. i don’t think any of my friends even use waypoint.

Agreed. People are putting way too much emphasis on it and are gonna hate to find out its irrelevant.
Besides we already have ranks on a website, its called halo tracker.
it takes 6 months for 343 to make something thats gonna fail in 6 minutes…

Just put a ranked and social list. A place to go when i feel like trying hard and a place to go when i want to relax.
This worked fine for H2 and 3. Why do you keep trying to reinvent the wheel 343?

I agree 100%.
I already don’t care. Maybe if they implemented it earlier and had a ranking system like Halo 2 and 3, I’d be interested.

That no1 else cares or knows about, except tracker people for the most part.
I understand that 343 wants everyone to feel like a winner, but the least they could do was put it in game and make it visible to only ourselves. Maybe then, people would actually care a little more.
There making a competitive playlist and making changes please the competitive community. If your going to be ranked against people of your same rank then there is no point in including it in game. They are doing their best to give everyone what they wanted. if your the type of person that wants to sell it or wait on bungie’s game then go ahead. If having a IN GAME skill rank is what is going to make or break the game for you then, there is no point in playing this game anymore.
The equation for BPR is some strange combination of K/D and W/L right? Whereas 1-50 is just plain ol’ W/L scaled by each team’s skill. I think CSR will be relevant in the sense that a 50 is a good player, but if you mean relevant as in something that people wave in the wind to show randoms how much better they are than them? Probably not.
Once it releases, I’ll bet you 99% of the complainers try to go for a 50.
