Noble Team

What was your favorite Death and Member of Noble team (yes Thom-A293 is allowed

Jorge, for sure.

Carters death was my favorite. The captain went down with his ship.

Jorge no doubt. That guy kicked -Yoink- and was always mostly present fighting at your side. His death was the saddest, especially because his sacrifice was in vain… or maybe not since it was a CSO, which could have made a major impact in the Covenant Navy. I mean, that thing’s expensive as hell. Over 28 000 km long with overshields that could tank nukes and weapons that absolutely rekts another ships.

Emiles death was my personal favorite he takes an energy sword after downing a field marshal and then takes down the other field marshal who stabbed him

I liked Kat’s death and felt the most saddened by it. War doesn’t care if you are a super soldier, when you die, you die. No ‘dying in someone’s arms’, no quotable goodbyes like with Jorge, just sudden loss of life.

I agree. Although I’d like to know why she didn’t have her shields up.

Kat’s was totally the saddest because in my opinion I could see the other one’s coming. Kat just got cheese of a snapshot through the neck by a freaking jackal. The part that made it the saddest though was that they had to recover her body and take her with them. Going back to get her and fending off the covies just made it all the more tragic. Also, she died for nothing! All the others had a heroic death where they took out a bunch of covies or protected the team. Kat got cheesed mid sentence while they were leaving the city. Definitely the saddest. Jorge is a close second, that one had a lot of feels.

The glassing that occurred moments before had disabled all of Noble Team’s shields. Something that people don’t realize is that Noble 6 was beside her when the enemy was aiming at them, meaning that the playable character could have been killed, but in a twist of fate, it was Kat instead. Survivor’s guilt, man, I can imagine almost every spartan deals with it.

It actually wasn’t a jackal that killed her, it was an Elite field marshall… the same one that ran away from Noble Team in the first mission when you were ambushed, and also the same one that you killed at the end of the game before you get onto the MAC gun. That field marshall can be considered the main antagonist of the game, if you look at it like that.

I thought it would have something to do with the ionization of the atmosphere. Kat was shot with a needle rifle, yes? Wouldn’t the user have also hit six as well? that part has always bothered me, the gunner didn’t fire twice (I know for narritve sake it would have ended the game there, but still)

How is it that I’ve played through this game about a thousand times, read tons of the lore about it, and continued to play it for the past 7 freaking years without getting that!
