Noble Team Armor Set

Are the Noble Team armor sets from the Reach update canon to 2558?

Armors being:
Vigilant
Wrath
Indomitable
Intruder

If they are canon, why wouldn’t the UNSC design the current Spartan IV armor similar to the Spartan III’s more bulky and rugged design?

I assume they are, because the armours aren’t exactly the same as the hero’s of reach’s armour. A few things are a little different…

Wraith’s knife and grenades
Intruder’s arm
Noble’s shoulder

Probably some other things but these are the most noticeable
