These two map packs need to be fixed, either need to be free, or just need to make the achievements for them for all levels, because spending 20$ basically only for 4 achievements I do not have these two map packs, but yet I have every achievement for them except for 4 of them. Need to remake it to remake the Map packs to where the achievements can only be achieved by playing on those maps or like Halo 3 just make all of them achievements be acquired for all of the levels. yes I know one achievement is for “Breaking Point” but, exactly my point also of them being free, even if they made all the achievements for all levels. basically wasting 10$ on 1 achievement which I’m going to end up doing anyways and 10$ on 3 achievements all an all it’s ridiculous.
Welcome to the free market. If you decide they are worth the price then you pay for them, if you don’t think they are worth the price then you don’t.
Perhaps when Halo 4 comes out and the demand for the map packs drops we’ll see a reduction in price, but with the situation as it is they’re seeing enough revenue to keep the price where it is at.
Again if you don’t feel they are worth the price then you just don’t buy them, that is perfectly fine and how the market is supposed to work.
I don’t care if they where 50$ each the fact that you can get that achievements off the two map packs without having them is ridiculous yes I do think they are worth it if you couldn’t get the items from those without those.
An Halo 3 map packs still cost yes but, you don’t need the map packs anymore to get those achievements. I know because that’s how I got the rest of mine i couldn’t get.
There’s really no excuse at all really anyone could give here because it doesn’t make sense at all why you would get things off something you don’t have. if that was the case then there’s no reason to have them for sale and everyone should get acquire them from a download instantly.

What? If you don’t own the maps, you aren’t entitled to the achievements tied to them. If you want them, you have to pay for them.

yes that is how it should be because other then the Noble map pack only having 1 achievement that requires to have to the noble map so basically you have to spend 10$ on the whole map pack for 1 achievement. and the defiant map pack you can’t do 3 of them without the map pack. you can do all the achievements in reach without the map packs except for 4 of them which you have to spend 20$ to get.

I’d love to enjoy them, but if there going to give away half the map packs for free then they should be half the price.

when the map packs came out they gave everyone The Noble and Defiant map pack achievements. now if you where only to receive those achievements on your acheivement list only by getting those Map Packs and then you can get them on other maps that would be completely different, seeing as you bought the map pack, but being able to get the achievements without having the map packs is pointless for the map packs to have, then also placing half the achievements by only playing the map packs doesn’t make any sense at all.
