So, most think is dead while a smaller percent disagrees. I’m on the fence but leaning more towards him/her being alive. Few ideas:
This I read from a thread on roosterteeth:
My sister and I were talking the other day about how funny it would be if Caboose actually became part of Halo canon, and I started thinking about where the other characters would fit in. I had just finished another run of the Halo Reach Campaign, spurred on by the latest episode of RvB. Then I realized something: if Caboose could be considered Halo Canon, Tex would make an entrance as a very lethal, if not hyper lethal. I realized then how eerily similar Noble 6 and Agent Texas were, and now I’ve decided to make a list detailing why I think Noble 6 could be and very well is Tex.
Noble 6 starts the campaign coming from private work with ONI to work with the UNSC. Tex had also worked for a private corporation, specifically Project Freelancer. Since Freelancer has shown a history of work dedicated to increasing the power of singular agents versus armies, similar to the SPARTAN program of ONI, it’s possible that Freelancer is an ONI branch.
When meeting the Noble team for the first time, Carter AKA Noble 1 compliments Noble 6 on their skillset, but warns them to leave their lone wolf stuff behind. Tex certainly has a reputation of being a lone wolf fighter. When first ‘hired’ by Caboose and Tucker, Tex went to fight them without their help, and went back by herself after she’d been rescued. Later when dealing with O’Malley, Tex often insisted on fighting and taking him by herself. Agent Texas fought alone in Sidewinder, taking on the blue team there by herself. She fights the reds and blues by herself in season 8 and later Meta and Washington by herself; the last fight she got into by shooting Church in the foot.
Tex is easily considered hyper lethal. In the trailer for Halo: Reach that introduced Noble Team, the narrating voice describes Noble 6 as hyper lethal (the only other one besides Master Chief). A sidenote by the narrator adds that Noble 6 has made entire sqads and sqadrons disappear. Tex eliminated all of the Sidewinder platoon (except for Church, but that point’s coming up).
One of Tex’s traits, defined by Church at the end of Season 8, is that Tex ultimately fails to accomplish the task she’s set her mind on; she gets right to the end and then fails to finish through the last 1%. Noble 6 has a similar trail. Noble 6 helps to take down the teleport platform, only for a super cruiser to appear. Then Six takes on the super cruiser to save Reach, only for the entire Covenant fleet to arrive. Six’s teammates die around her, just as Tex loses York and Church (the latter several times). And ultimately, Six fails to save Reach and survive the glassing of the planet. While Six did deliver Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn, that was only a checkpoint along the whole mission; Tex has accomplished similar checkpoints before, such as constructing a bomb to kill O’Malley.
Noble 6 is considered dead. Well? What of it? Tex has died before, and that hasn’t stopped her; if anything she was stronger afterward. So who’s to say that Noble 6–Tex–didn’t just escape the Elite swarm off the camera (as it shifts as the Elite swings down) escape on a phantom and took years of therapy to recover (hence not being in Halo 1-4). After all, Spartans never die; they’re just missing in action lol.
But my personal idea is a lil different. I think he/she is Crimson. One reason being it’s once again, YOU. Just like Reach. Another being he/she is obviously a bada$$. Another being Spartan II’s or III’s were invited into the IV program. One last reason I can think of is towards the end of Spartan Ops season 1 as your delivering the power core (package like POA on Reach) similar music is very slightly thrown in there.
It’s possible he magically pulls out a shotgun and blasts the elites in the face at the end…
hehe
seriously, if he did somehow survive, there was no one who could help him, and the covenant ships began glassing the planet shortly. The wound wouldve been very bad, and noble six wouldn’t be able to go far.
To me, his death was the saddest, because he was the last one.
Asking for proof that a fictional character is dead… Kind of a silly request. But I’ll humor it.
spartan III’s were drugged up so that there were nearly immune to shock… So even if their hearts where burned away from their body the could continue to fight without fainting/losing conscious (untill they die)
So yeah, that’s how Emile kept fighting even though he was run through with an E. Sword.
Like wise you could expect Noble Six to have continued to fight despite the elites dealing what would be considered “leathal” blows… But any lethal blow is still, eventually, lethal. Noble Six is MIA.
Rumor has it that the Excalibur sword by the REX on Outskirts is really the sword that Noble 6 dodged at the end of Reach, carried by Elites to Earth. It could happen, OK!
343i? Hell, Bungie did that when they were still in charge.
There’s an article I read that I can’t be bothered looking for at the moment where someone from Bungie explains how difficult it was to get the final mission into the game. Half the team were thinking about leaving it blank to give the idea that s/he may have survived, but they realised it would be a fitting end for their career with Halo and to close the franchise full circle with a lead in to Halo: CE.
You know… just the fact that we wish he was alive shows what a good campaign Reach had. I still feel sad every time my team dies, and I feel a vengeance every time I kill that Field Marshall on Pillar of Autumn,

I think Reach was a great campaign in its own way. It provoked feelings inside me that differed from the main trilogy. It was alien, and I liked that.
Six is dead get over it lol we’ve been through this before, and Jun may still be alive since 343i nor bungie ever confirmed his death but i think they kept it ambiguous to troll us
> Proof? Reason I’m asking is because Frank O said in an interview “It’s possible that at least one member of Noble survived.”
That survivor of Noble team would be the Spartan III who escorted Catherine Halsey off Reach. If you read between the lines, his orders were to kill her rather than let the Covenant capture her. Note that Catherine Halsey was not captured and is still alive, and therefore we can assume that the survivor of Noble team was alive with her.
As for Noble 6, all that is left is his armor and his courage.

That survivor would be soon, although I read in a book that her Spartan protector had died, so its fair to assume that Jun is dead.
According to the Novel “Halo: The Fall Of Reach” It clearly states that during the fall, only 5 Spartans survived, The rest of noble team including Spartan B32 (aka noble 6) Was considered KIA. This is where Fall of reach ends and a new novel caries on to another novel “Halo: First strike” Section 6 Titled Operation First Strike. The Spartans including Dr Halsey is mentioned. Except after a firefight at castle base, Dr Halsey escaped and let the five Spartans Die because the covenant had already started glassing the area. How ever, Spartan Jun A266 was the only member of the Noble Team to survive. He was pronounced MIA. He escaped from castle base. Since then he could not be found.
(Takes A Deep Breath) But The characters of RvB is nothing but Halo Cannon and has nothing to do with the core story. So yeah here you go.

Actually I think what it said was that her protector was not with her upon arrival to Castle Base. It is a very logical assumption to assume that Jun is still alive.
This has been done to dearh. Hard core Halo fans that read everything and know everything Halo take everything so literally and will claim that Noble 6 is Dead. They ignore the greater truth about Science Fiction: That anything is possible.
Bottom Line: If a good story presents itself and a marketable, profitable game can be produced from it, the Sci-fi genre offers several options to explain the return of Noble 6 as needed.
