Ok,so there has been some speculation going aroud that Noble 6 lives. In the Halo Reach ending,some people think he may have doged the stab. Canonically speaking,is he dead or alive?
Dead. There is nothing to suggest he lived.
Jun and Buck even talk about him being dead in New Blood.
Fans have rumored up theories to prevent the dead of almost every character that wasn’t directly killed on screen (and even there’s some).

Even if he some how dodged the sword strikes he there was no way for him to avoid that many enemies I don’t know why people do these theories when he was confirmed KIA

Noble 6 may be dead but I think how it is interesting how the last mission is lone wolf and at the start of the game carter says the lone wolf stuff is left behind.

He’s referring to the fact that Spartans are never listed as KIA, but as MIA to boost morale and make them seem invincible.
