I still think Chief would be better because of Cortana.
I think Noble 6 would of been one of the few people in the Halo universe to eventually replace Chief.

I’m going with no for three reasons:
- Noble 6 had too much of the ‘Lone Wolf’ thing going. Master Chief at his best is as a team player and leading a team - a well-drilled and effective team of Spartans (especially S-IIs) has a huge force multiplier effect. Noble 6 isn’t a team leader and doesn’t have that same multiplicative effect even when working as a team. While having better unit coherency than the S-IIIs of Alpha Company, Beta Company members were still not as effective in this regard as S-IIs. - John had luck. Cortana may also have chosen Noble-6 as a way to get her there, but clearly Noble 6’s luck wasn’t the same. - Post-war if Noble 6 had still been alive he’d have been folded into the Spartan Branch with the other surviving S-IIIs, while they’re still Spartans it’s such a different dynamic to what came before.

I think it would be awesome if chief and 6 teamed up
Better is a tall claim, even being equal would be quite the claim tbh. Honestly at the hyper-lethal level they both are its hard to compare all of there feats especially if we entertain hypotheticals. Chief has more lore behind him though, and in the cannon he actually survived opposed to N6 who, ya know…didn’t. Kind of proof alone that chief was better.

That’s a big claim. Not saying your wrong or anything, but I’m curious what your reasoning is. Noble 6 is cool and very powerful, but Chief is a SII and one of the best ones with the added bonus of being lucky as Cortana said. So while I really like Noble 6 I don’t see him being better than Chief unless you have some reasoning I didn’t think about. An aside I will say Noble 6 would’ve been a very valuable asset to the UNSC during the war if he was able to make it off Reach alive.

Whilst Spartan-B312 is capable of ‘making entire militia groups disappear’, as said by Halsey, the Master Chief is a Spartan-II. This grants him superior strength, speed and higher priority of assets in the field, Spartan-IIIs however, were mostly expendable and sent on suicidal operations. Assuming B312 wouldn’t die on Reach, it’s very likely he would’ve been deployed to more suicidal operations and would be killed in action - B312 may be the only other ‘Hyper Lethal Vector’ but is massively adversed by his cheaper augmentations and armour.
The Master Chief has prevented galactic genocide twice, stopping an entire alien armada multiple times and thwarted a highly-contagious infection (with assistance from Cortana). The Master Chief is also technically a forerunner, his life (H1-H4) was essentially preordained by the forerunners hence why he is referred to as ‘reclaimer’, or most notably said by the Gravemind ‘Child of my enemies’.
The Master Chief has an abundance of combative experience compared to B312 and has conducted hundreds of missions which yielded better results, like Blue Team’s deployment to the Unyielding Hierophant - thanks for coming to my Ted Talk (this seems like a rant as I write it but I genuinely have too much time on my hands and decided to invest it into something, sorry if this comes off negatively!)

Not really, the only edges they had over them was more durable armor and experience. Their augmentations were nearly the same, in fact Gamma Company has the strongest augments because of Kurt’s Go-juice.

Well the fact that chief survived and six didn’t isn’t a fair argument considering six chose to stay behind and cover Keyes by firing the MAC gun, six simply was in a tough situation where he couldn’t do anything about it. I’m sure if chief was in this situation he would die too. Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don’t. In this case six didn’t.
