Nobel Team instead of Osiris??

Hey guys I tried to search to see if anyone had posted about this at all and doesn’t seem so, or my computer is just being dumb. But I was wondering since this is Halo 5 and all, do you think Noble Team (considering that they all survived some how and made it to the current date and time HALO 5 takes place.) would have been a interesting concept to hunt down Blue Team instead of Osiris Team doing the hunt, because personally to my opinion, if Noble Team survived the events on Reach which is hard to say to the least, would have for a very interesting concept especially since there is a Spartan II within the ranks of Noble Team. Do you think they would do better then Osiris, I know we haven’t seen Osiris Team preform as a team (atleast I havent) but what do you think?

Edit: I just added the poll to see what you all think, Noble Team to hunt Blue Team in this what if scenario or good old wannabe Spartan Osiris Team…

But only Jun survived.

Noble team is dead… the only survivor is Jun and he’s one of the people in charge of the spartan iv program… Also to add the spartan 3s are the weakest of the spartan generations…

^ this

It’s an interesting concept but Noble team is dead. Had Noble Team survived Reach and still alive during the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5, it would certainly make for an interesting plot twist

dude did you even play reach? :open_mouth:

The only surviving Member is Jun, and Noble Team seems to have a history for dying. Maybe Noble Six would have been a nice “addition” to Osiris, together with Rookie but thats hard to say.

Although given the power struggles in the upper echelons of the Army/Navy/ONI, Spartan IVs are ONI property and Spartan II / III are Navy (NAVSPECWAR) it also kind of makes sense in ONIs mind to try and get rid of the “old tech”

No actually I watched the wannabe Spartan Sarah Palmer play it… Really… I played the game a few times which is why I said “If they had survived the events on Reach” and if your wondeiring what I mean by survived I mean all of Noble Team survived…

Actually, ALL of the Spartans, with the exception of Blue Team, (and probably other S-IIs) are now considered part of the Spartan Branch, separate from the Navy and ONI and Army, etc etc. Perhaps ONI would have De Facto Control over the other branches, just because they are so powerful, but on paper, the only people spartans report to, besides other spartans, are the people who would have authority over the entire military.

Pretty sure the guy is just making a “what if” scenario. A different timeline where Noble does survive. It does make for an interesting concept.

I actually already know this, but since I was trying to let the community just use the power of imagination and lets say that Noble Team did survive, and they were the ones hunting Blue Team…

I know Spartan III’s were cheaper to create, but this is why I am saying Noble Team and not any other team or Company…

That is very wrong.

Wow, people can’t read OP.

And no the Spartan III’s were/are not the weakest Spartans you Spartan II elitist

The SIIIs (Cat-2 at least) in MJOLNIR are on par with SIIs

As far as talents go, I think Osiris would be better than Noble at hunting Blue.

As far as following orders when the evidence invariably leads the pursuers to question whether hunting Blue is right, I think Noble would be more likely to blindly follow the orders than Osiris.

All of them were on par with S-II’s. The genetic profile for the S-III’s was wider and thus their augmentations (which produced the same results as the S-II augs with a 100% success rate) worked on a wider range of people. The only reason all of them didn’t get MJOLNIR is because it would have costed waaaaaaaay too much to make 300+ suits for each company.

No, its not. Ghosts of Onyx shows Kurt reflecting on the prospects of the spartan 3s and he notes that since they were taken from a much larger gene pool, they would never be the same as the S-IIs. Now you may have the occasional good match of an S-3 candidate, who would have qualified for the S-2 program, and somebody like that would be capable of becoming just as physically adept as an S-II, given the right augmentations, but as a group the Spartan 3s were weaker and not as well trained as the 2s

They were cheaper to make, their armor was cheaper, their weapons were cheaper, their modifications were not as drastic as spartan 2s which is why there were way more 3s. They were mainly sent on suicide missions. When compared to spartan 2s who’s physical capabilities outmatch the 3s and the 4s who were selected from very skilled soldiers, who have a mix of the spartan 2 and 3s modifications, better armor and who has better training yes they are the weakest.

Im not a spartan 2 elitist… I like the 4s more than the previous.
