Is there any way to unlock the armour customisations for those of us that play the game for the campaign mode rather than multiplayer?
As far as I can tell, you can only get experience to progress rank and unlock armour customisations from online multiplayer, but what about those of us that play for the solo modes, or have bad internet? I don’t mind grinding exp to unlock stuff, obviously it’s not ideal but I can cope with it, but I don’t like being forced to play a game mode I don’t really enjoy to do it… Is there no way to add experience to campaign modes?
As of right now, No. Multiplayer only. Hope 343i does a work around in the future.
yeah i do not like this set up either its not fun when anther player yells at you for being terrible and dragging the team down one of the reasons why i avoid multiplayer games but with this i have no choice if I want customize my character for a more personalized experience I have to suffer, but yeah i hope they change the system, its not fun when a reclusive gamer and some one tells you have to multiplayer.
I have to agree about this now. Now that a customization system tied to a progression system is added, one thing they can utilize more is the campaign playlists which you get no benefit after you get all achievements done if all of them are not finished. If you finished all achievements before completing all the playlists, your basically playing them for no purpose and reason (and becomes uninteresting) and getting experience after every mission (including a bonus for completing the playlists) wouldn’t be a bad idea (like getting Credits in the Original Reach). The problem with the playlists is that your getting nothing for most of them there (except for LASO) so 343 needs to give some kind of rewards for playing these playlists (adding up all the playlists for all six games and the cross game ones) adds up to being alot of time and effort for nothing in return, just to see them completed I guess…
