Where is the “Meh, can’t say I care either way” option on the poll?
I think there are two factors right now contributing to the “death” of Halo 4. The first is no visible CSR. Why? Because it leads into my second factor, which is “MLG Legit Pros” dropping the game over a number not being next to their name to confirm their status as a “Legit MLG Pro”.

We need more poll votes… so far the vast majority of people support visible in-game CSR! 343 open your EYES!
I bought Halo 4 a few weeks ago,thinking the CSR was already in it. Im a pc gamer, but I loved halo 3 multiplayer, and how competative it was because everyone was trying to get their CSR higher.
The only reason i’m still playing now is to practice for when the CRS is implamented. Me and my bro, even got our friends from cod to start playing halo instead, we are all practacing for the CRS. If i have to go online to check my/other peoples CSR, then im gonna stop playing.
Doing stuff like that is catering to casuals, 343 you’re alienating your core audience if you do this. I know it probably dosn’t seem important to some people, but think if 343 made every decision based on casuals.
Just a bit of drama queen. I would love for it to be visible in game but it won’t be the death of the game.
I am saying this as someone that knows I will never see a 50 next to my name, but I still want it to be in game.

It most defiantly should be in game and visible. However it doesn’t kill me that it’s on waypoint only. I think some of the people at 343 where really turned off having a ranking system for two big reasons. 1. The cheating in Halo 3. I personally do not think this is a good enough excuse to remove ranks altogether. 2. The stat flaming that it caused on the forums. However I think 343 underestimates how a visible ranking system could help the game. People like to compete for things and a ranking system gives people something to compete for and I think if you’re going to have ranks in the game then why not go all the way and make them visible in game?

I personally like to see the skill level of a player that I will be playing competitively against. It isn’t necessarily my level as opposed to my competition’s level.
It also adds longevity to the game, who can complain about that?
Why doesn’t 343 just add an option to see if we want our and others CSR visible or not? Literally everyone wins. Oh yeah, because it makes too much sense.

or perhaps give everyone the option to show RANK or hide RANK

In the first few weeks or months after the CSR is released the population will grow people will play it and test it out,
They will see if they like it ------------as it will not be visible in game and only visible on Halo Waypoint you will not be able to see the people you’re playing against ranks or skill, people will become frustrated with this and the population will drop once again.
I will continue to Play Halo as i always Have but i would be willing be bet a VIGR will increase the population over a None visible In Game Rank …
