I’m hoping they’re just going to surprise in the update preview but it’s kinda like I’m clinging to this hope of something that I know isn’t going to happen but I just don’t want to accept the truth

I doubt it, but maybe. It just amazes me how we aren’t even getting a ‘new’ (not really new but remixed) arena map. Like whats going on at 343i?
I saw on another thread someone talking about them being a little behind and trying to get it out at the beginning of april at the latest. As for infection I wasn’t really expecting it in Ghosts of Meridian. I was expecting it in Memories of Reach (was pretty popular on reach) or even Hog Wild…being how vague a name that can be.

I dont see how they are behind, its an update with only one real new thing, a warzone map, and a bunch of microtransaction goodies.

I’m not waiting till May for infection
The only thing worth a damn here is the single Warzone map, and having to fight the same bosses again would make even that inextraordinary.

Back in January I’m pretty sure Josh Holmes confirmed (on Team Beyond forums) that the ball mode would arrive in February, and Infection would arrive in March (now April). Everyone had their pitch forks out at that time. I’m fairly confident that Infection will be part of the next content update. It’s really annoying how vague they are being, and also the fact that they are pretty much non-existent on their own forums (per usual).

They didn’t say anywhere that Infection isn’t coming this month, instead of puling facts from thin air I suggest we wait until 343 themselves confirm no Infection for the new update. If 343 say Infection isn’t coming this month then get the pitch forks out.
Infection has already been confirmed for a future update.

From the community update posted yesterday:
> “Ghosts of Meridian will bring with it brand new weapons and weapon skins, helmets and armors, assassinations and emblems, vehicles, and a new Warzone map.”
I think it’s fair to assume that we’re not getting any new game modes alongside this update.
What you sit down and take a deep breath and actually think about it the reason why the update is it coming maybe because that there’s a lot to this update or they’re trying to make sure that the quality is good so they’re releasing it in early early April like the first week and them not mentioning infection does it mean it might not show up this update either I wish people would just stop speculating but God forbid if the Halo Waypoint forums ever actually have some logic every once in a while why don’t you wait until the full reveal it happens before we all jump to conclusions and think that there is no infection for this update even then will get it eventually game is only been out for what 5 months and all we know leave it might still get the update in March but right now they see it as an early April released due to scheduling but there’s still a chance that it could come out right at the very end of March last month’s update actually got pushed up a few days pretty much the moral is have patience and stop speculating.
would you rather they release another -Yoink- update, or spend extra time to make the next one a quality update? so sick of these posts. you cannot please people anymore.
End of March to April 2nd. A whopping couple days isn’t going to hurt anyone to make sure it’s a finished product. Besides, it’s not like there wasn’t HWCS that just happened and to plan around

It’s early April instead of late March, so no big deal, and they’ve given very little info on it other than some minor stuff about a new Warzone map and non-detailed info about the Hannibal Mantis, so Infection might not have been mentioned because little about the update has been mentioned at all, or it’s too early for them to know if Infection will be ready in time for this update.
However, I’d say it’s not looking too good. Warzone map drops are events in themselves and I’d doubt a bombshell like Infection would drop along with it. They may have waited this long because they know Infection will make custom games skyrocket and they want matchmaking to stay populated.
