No update since the 15th? It’s nearly the 18th! 3 days of silence? Disgusting considering how many people are just wanting some information, will it be broke a week? A month? 6 months? This has definitely damaged 343’s reputation and had an effect on the brand without a doubt.
BF hardline will be the first BF I’ve not bought day one for the very reason it was so broke last year, I’m sure other people are now thinking the same of halo 5. I know they’re working hard but if people can’t see that or get informed of the latest findings they have every right to be angry after dropping $60 and please don’t say play campaign as that’s broke too.
As a die hard halo fan I couldn’t be more disappointed, this has now gotten to the inexcusable period. If I’d have been informed a few times a day about the state of the game that would be tolerable… But their silence is just insulting now as a consumer. It is NOT ok for all these devs to be releasing broken games I really hope they pull through quickly because if it takes as long as BF4 to work, God help the franchise. It’s only debuted at number 3 in the UK charts this week! I can’t remember a halo game ever not making top spot

And there HAVE been updates - they were server side, so we didn’t have to download anything.

I think he’s talking about updating US on their progress, we assume they’re updating the servers, but unless they tell us how and when, how would we know?

I played all day today. Im having trouble now, but I played at least 8 matches earlier. I have heard this result from a few people. The real fix is coming when we actually have to download the update, not just back end updates on their side.
They’ve implied this update on Wednesday still ain’t fix everything though, hopefully they’re just underplaying it in case it doesn’t work very well. And it surprises them and works perfectly! Fingers crossed

Hey guys I’m just wondering has there been any client-side updates that have been released in the past few days? And if so, how to download them if your xbox hasn’t? I can’t think of any other reason why on the night of 11/15 my game, after working all day and having no trouble finding matchmaking, disconnected and reset my rank. Ever since, I can’t find a single player when searching - just out of nowhere. Was any client-side patch at all released on the 15th or was that just server side? Thanks for anyone who doesn’t mind answering this

Well we can’t say the REAL FIX just yet. We have no clue if this will actually FIX the MM issues. There is still tons of work to be had here, seeing how some aspects of SP and MP are still broken, achievements that aren’t unlocking, coop story sometimes wont connect and drop players before you even get in, the dummy parties people get stuck in, the random force quits, being able to kick people from MM games, and tons more. so to say this is the REAL FIX will be decided on Wednesday the 19th.

I have been calm to a point myself, except i have made it official that they have until the end of the month to get the game to a state to where it is tolerable or i’m out. cause you can only wait so long before you just give up. i do hope this next content update works cause i am already tired of playing a MM game and then force quit the game research after every game. im also one who would like an update twice a day even if it was and update saying we are still planning on wednesday for the content update or even a simple hello hows your day going lol

bro you act like they aren’t trying to fix this. calm the -Yoink- down and stop being such a child. there is an update on Wednesday. They don’t need to give you a step by step of things you wouldn’t even understand. They’re doing their job… and… fortunately for kids like you… they are doing everything they can so YOU can play a video game.

is it wrong to want someone from the team to take 15 minutes to read through the progress reports from the team and give us a tweet paraphrasing the reports to “we just updated the servers to do ‘x’ and are working to deliver ‘y’ next”?
