In the E3 beta there was no UNSC shotgun but this was because they were showing off the new weapons, to be specific, the new shotgun. Scattershot.

Dont worry, the UNSC shotgun IS in Halo 4, as seen in the the Red vs Blue video accouncing the release date of the game.
You could be right. In a RvB PSA about November 6th, Sarge has a Shotgun,but it is the Halo: Reach Shotgun. I think they put that Shotgun in there to hid the Scattershot, giving us the surprise back in early June.

The shotgun was identical to Reach’s shotgun in the RvB videos which hints towards placeholder. It hasn’t officially been confirmed as of yet or they could be redesigning it. Who knows?

No. it was in a leaked Beta version,but as long as it wasn’t at E3 it is not confirmed to be part of your loadout.
what prove do you have that is is a primary loadout and if it is that -Yoink- stupid cuz it would be pointless to call in the scattershot

That leaked “beta version” also had kill cams. I highly doubt it was real.

Ya I remember the killcams, either they took them out or kept it away from E3
Most likely they took killcams out because of how much the community hated it.
The shotgun is in H4, it’s just mounted on top of the sniper rifle.
Yeah, of course the UNSC shotgun is coming. It was shown in the Red vs Blue videos on Halo 4. I just hope that Reach look is a placeholder.
There hasn’t been a halo game without a shotgun so far, I can’t see Halo 4 being any different.
i wonder how they will make the shottie able be hopefully on par with the scattershot. i really could just see a lot of people making the scattershot their default shotgun…
Right now the rule of thumb with weapons and vehicles is: “If 343i hasn’t said it’s not going to be in the game, and we haven’t seen it yet, then there’s still a chance it’s in.”
Just because we haven’t seen it yet, doesn’t mean it’s not in the game. We don’t know 100% of what’s going in the game, all we know is,

The one in the Red vs Blue video could be a place holder, it look’s exactly like the Reach shotgun.
Yes, as stated above, you can see Sarge holding the UNSC Shotgun in one of the Episodes of Red vs. Blue, it could just be a place holder because it looks indentical to the Shotgun of Halo Reach.
But Halo wouldn’t be the same without it’s good ol’ fashioned Shotgun would it?

I think that was place holder because they want to overwhelm it a bit and haven’t got the time to show it at E3

Have you played the game? No. Is everything going to be confirmed before the game comes out? No. Will the UNSC shotgun be in Halo 4? Most likely, yeah. Why take out a gun that’s been there since the beginning? I dont know, that wouldnt make sense.
