I’ve noticed a lot of people on these forums accusing others (invariably those they disagree with) of not being true Halo fans. There is no definitive Halo fan. Everyone who plays Halo experiences each game in a unique way and forms their own opinions about what Halo should be like. Arguing about what constitutes a “true” Halo fan is neither constructive nor helpful. The Halo community doesn’t need labels like this. It’s divisive and childish. We’re all Halo fans.
I know that feel. The amount of logical fallacies that have flooded this forum over the past couple of weeks is really disheartening.
Spoken like a true CoD kiddy, I can smell it.
We’re all Halo fans, but opinions seem to be This vs. That. There is no inbetween. You have to appeal to one side and hope the community doesn’t drop at the rate Halo 4’s did.

Are you trolling me? I am anti-sprint, pro-arena, etc. I hate Call of Duty with a fiery passion for its inherent casual-ness. I just want us to be able to conduct ourselves like adults on these forums.

I agree. It seems that 343i will need to pick a side eventually, and judging by the beta they’re trying to please both camps. We’ve got an arena shooter with sprint and other “modern” shooter mechanics.
