No Timer on Weapon Drill

Weapon Drills is a great Idea. It just needs a mode where there is no timer. Players should b able to shoot until they choose to stop because its much more about practicing than a mini-game.

All it needs is a mode where you go in and shoo without a timer.

So something like a firing range where you can test accuracy and the weapons without a timer looming over where you can just have fun with the weapons.

Could be nice to have both. The timer really helped me to get used to the new weapons in a more heated situation. But I also agree that it could be nice to just take your time to experiment with them. But there might be plenty of ways in the full game to do just that.

And one where you can muck around with weapon combos.

Heya!

Great idea, I think several shooters have some sort of mode like this to help players warm up like Valorant. I’m sure that once the game releases with a full academy experience that this will be an option for players to utilise before matchmaking!

Cheers.

Yeah that would be dope if you could run academy while waiting for a game to search and launch.

If all else fail someone could make a forge map shooting range.

and no lame repetitive voice lines, those got old real quick.

I love this idea, a weapon drill where you’re just straight up shooting away with no time limit is definitely more convenient. So that way, you don’t have to encounter all those lulls in progress.

I’d also like it to be a more seamless experience.

Anyone every played Perfect Dark on the N64? In that game there was a very similar weapon drill area within the Carrington Institute hub, an area you loaded into at the main menu, and could back out of the menu to explore. It was full of gear tutorials and had a nifty weapon range where you could practice higher-and-higher tiered weapon challenges. But instead of being bogged down by loading screens, you just walked up to a computer, picked your weapon, walked over to the range, and it would automatically start the trial.

Being able to seemlessly pick a new weapon, a new challenge tier, and definitely a free-fire mode would be great.

A full on practice mode is a novel idea i could get behinds, especially with the bot system.
