No team slayer at release?!

In every halo , there is a ranked team slayer when the game is released…

I can’t believe they find it was a fine idea to start a game without ranked team slayer as a choice.

I’m personally going to wait free for all to come in game to try halo infinte… its my favorite playlist and i want to play it…

but right now i don’t even want to try the game because i don’t want to play mode i don’t like ( objective)…

honestly 343 don’t learned from halo 5, they keep offering the minimum playlist they can.

And people say that the monetization model only affects cosmetics.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you had to pay for the playlist.

The reason you can’t select for specific game types, is because they designed the challenge system to be reliant on the RNG of the playlist in order to drag out progression. If you were able to select game types at will, you would be able to complete the challenges too quickly, and you also wouldn’t have any use for challenge swaps (the solution to the problem they created, which they conveniently sell you).

Put there are people who would have you believe this is all some kind of cosmic accident with no conscious intent behind it whatsoever.

oh well , what a bad decision… i don’t care about cosmetic , i just want to play team slayer… i don’t care of the apparence of my spartan.

They figure if there’s literally nothing else for you to do in the game except play the one playlist and spend hours grinding challenges, you might at least buy the battle pass or challenge swaps.

I’m pretty much done with mp until they come out with more list. Slayer only, Swat, hopefully snipers in large maps lol. Yeah no more oddball and stronghold for me. It’s already taking the fun out of the game. Sigh developers and this haunting need to force people to play certain game types…

doesnt the game official release at 10am pst?

What is the difference between Slayer and Team Slayer? I thought they were the same?

I had the exact same nightmare scenario pop in to my head the other day when they made these announcements. They are making us pay for BP, cosmetics and the whole game is so challenge and XP progression centric that they are trying to sell us challenge swaps and XP boosts…it’s not entirely beyond them to try to sell us the most popular and desirable item in game…and that’s playlists.

Yeah I never thought I’d say this about Halo before it has even been officially released but it’s getting very stale, very boring and very repetitive very quickly already.

The whole system based around challenges and painfully slowly grinding XP for a meaningless BP with carp content that you have to pay for is such s bad decision and implementation…they couldn’t have got it more wrong if they’d tried!

Let’s not forget the impact that these challenges are having on game play…players quitting if they don’t get the gametype they need for their challenge, not playing the objective due to a weapon or vehicle challenge, and not playing to win but playing to complete a challenge. I was actually guilty of it myself earlier…I jumped into BTB as I needed Sentinel and Gungoose kills so I spent the whole game hunting down the weapons and vehicles whilst being oblivious to the whole ping if the game…that’s not how I want to play but this crappy system they have implemented is making us make those kind of terrible in game choices.
