No Team Doubles At Launch?

I feel like they never have “Double Team” as a playlist at launch, but it always becomes a standard playlist eventually. Why!?

Doubles is a pretty niche gametype. I think they just want to get the core stuff out that will appeal to everyone, both new and old players. Then once things are well established, they can add in all the little side playlists like doubles or snipers or grifball.

People that play doubles don’t really give a crap about the 4 man experience. That’s why we play doubles.
