No Stats on Waypoint?

Noticed on my Service record that there is no Stat Tracking? only Battle Pass Progression and Challenges. No stats for Kills, Wins/Losses or K/D etc. Is this something to be added later?

Personally I hope they don’t add stat tracking. There’s no longer a reason to fear playing the objective, because that precious K/D must be defended at the cost of maybe winning the match. Battlefront 2 (EA) took this route and I think it’s great. Less reason for people to be sweating every single match is a great thing.

Personally I loved having/seeing Stats in previous titles? It’s not just about KD, but wins/losses, games played etc. Looking at waypoint service records you can see stats from all previous Halo titles accept for Infinite? I loved being able to inspect opponents stats and ranks in game to have an indication of how good they might be? Maybe if it was implemented for Ranked only?

I agree I was going to make thread about this I loved being able to see how many medals I’ve earned and seeing my stats in waypoint it didn’t hurt anything every halo has had it there was me reason to take it away

I hope they bring it back. I like to know how I’m doing over all and how my friends are doing. If I click on a friends profile in the game I can see how he did in previous games but not the names of anyone else they played with which I find kinda weird too. That’s in btb anyway, maybe it’s different in other game modes.

Hopefully it will make a return. If you are not interested in stats and K/D ratios you can always ignore it. And I believe you should be able to hide it too if you don’t want to feel that others are judging you for it.

I really miss the in-depth stats from the Bnet days. Stats galore. The heatmaps were an amazing feature too. I wish they’d make a return.

While I agree tracking KDR sucks. They should be tracking other stuff to make up for it, such as flag caps, odd ball, and territory time.

Very disappointing to not be able to see the stats. Takes a lot out of the game honestly.

Terribly disappointed that we can’t see our stats. It takes a lot out of the game honestly

Nah, stat tracking is important. Just need to also include objective based stats too (a good ball hold time, # captures, etc.).

Bot stats need to be separated too. A lot of stat cards going around include bot games right now

It can be great to watch our score, we are not all obsessed with the stats and some can play objectives and still wants to know the ratio

I fully support that statistics are NOT returned. This is a topic that I have been discussing for weeks in another post that I have created. They do not contribute in social games and only cause unnecessary stress.

Ignoring them does not solve any problem and is only an excuse to silence the part of the community that causes them a problem. In any case, it would be good if we had a medal table where we can see our collection.

Completely disagree.
In a supposed 10 year lifespan of infinite, you wont know how many kills you’ve gotten?!?!

I do not see any value to save the statistics of the social games. This does not mean that for competitive ranked games there are statistics.

I understand that feeling, but there should be stats, clearly marked between social and ranked.

not happening. stats are coming back. they are in every post game screen and will be FULLY tracked on here soon. Im lost as to why people like you do not want stats… thinking stats cause problems in the community probably means that you just arent good and everyone who beats you must be “focused on their stats”. Unnecessary stress? When you have to go to a website to see them? How does that stress the average player who doesnt see them? LOL you are so confusing.

I have spent more than two weeks writing this post and discussing this matter, everything I have to say is here written:

[Seriously, is it really necessary to have global statistics in social games?] → https:// forums.halowaypoint .com/t/seriously-is-it-really-necessary-to-have-global-statistics-in-social-games/5068

Eliminate the spaces in the link to be able to go, there is a lot to read.

I’m sick of users like you who are only able to argue “If you don’t like this, it’s because you’re bad, stop crying.” It does not help the debate at all and only causes me to position myself more against these statistics in social games precisely by users like you.

If you are really interested in knowing why I think that global statistics in social games are a problem, read the post from the link above. And you will see why I think they need to be refocused and rethought in better and more real use for social games, especially now that the multiplayer of Halo Infinite will be more open and less balanced.

That you do not understand a problem or do not see it does not give you the right to respond in that way to others or to value their opinion. This only encourages an environment of unnecessary toxicity in this forum.

I’d love to see them. Statistics are super interesting to me and you can identify trends over time in your gameplay. I did have a really good stats teacher way back in high school so maybe that’s why, but I love to get nerdy about that stuff (particularly accuracy).

A previous commenter mentioned hiding your stats if you want and I think that is a good idea if you tend to worry about them.

You have reminded me a lot of my high school, for when I had to prepare statistics for the university entrance exams.

I think that partly from there my problem with statistics arose because where people saw positive the fact that many things were tracked, I only saw a problem of noise and excess information. I always focused on tracking as accurately as possible what was really useful, and that these statistics were focused in a correct and useful sense for the environment where it was used.

This always led me to some discussion with my teacher
