Have you changed your gamertag since you last played? If you have you just need to play a match for your data to sync back up.

The Halo: Reach in the Collection is a different game compared to the one on the Xbox 360. If you want your Xbox 360 stats back you have to load up the Xbox 360 version of the game. As the game is backwards compatible it doesn’t matter if you have a Xbox 360 console as long as you have the disc/digital version of the game.
do we need to play online to update the stats or i can also play just the campaign?

No, you need to play the original Xbox 360 version of the game if you wish to test if it will resolve the issue.
The MCC version of Halo Reach should instead be viewed as a separate game that is a part of the Master Chief Collection.
