I’m perfectly fine with it, as I hate the short month seasons, but just curious because there was no announcement and it’s may 2nd now, so doesn’t appear that it will be reset. Anyone know?

The reset will be today
If you bothered to read the communiy update you would know that the reset was push back a day to May 2nd. This is most likely due to the fact that May 1st was a Sunday and no one was probably working, so if something went wrong it wouldn’t be fixed till the next day.
